In the past Apple has made new products available for online order on the day of release. I would say it's say to safe rMBPs will be released on the 22nd or earlier, along with Mavericks and possibly the Mac Pro.

now we just need invites to go out for a event which would happen on the 8th for a 15th event.
In the 13" there'll probably be Iris 5100 graphics, which is on two i5 models. The 15" is already all i7, and that's where Iris Pro 5200 is expected.
I want to buy a new Mac when the new mac haswell will be released.

Has it ever crossed your mind that all those rumors about the October 15th or 22nd are made by apple to mess with our heads? Like yeah it can be one of those days but they make up rumors of all those days on purpose just to confuse us and play with our feelings?

And great that Mavericks GM is out! That means that they can begin mass producing computers with Mavericks pre-installed!
So if it ever was that holding back the release, that's not the case now.

On MR front page GM 10.9 article it states that Apple workers must be finished training for Mavericks by Friday Oct 11th.
Is there anything to read into this?
One would assume that means something with Mavericks will be released that day... Or it could mean absolutely nothing! It would seem too close to have Mavericks pre installed on a new machine and sold by next friday.

Yeah I know. But the Classic was here before the Nano. My point was: I never had the feeling I needed less than 5GB. That's why I never bought a nano.
I want to upgrade my aluminum 13" MacBook to the upcoming 15" rMBP is this machine really worth the 3,000 dollars?
