Does anyone know the reputation of this website? I don't know anything about it.

There's a reason for that.

I'm crossing my fingers that the new iPad's come out at the same time as the new rMBP so I can order both at the same time. It would be even nicer if they both came in Space Grey.

Yup, I hope so too... Am getting 2 ipads and the rMBP (and the cMBP antiglare if they do refresh) for free.

So much aluminum to massage and sink my teeth into.

what do you mean by poor implementation? I am not doubting, I just do want to hear more. I am thinking about ordering one haha

The display trackpad for one. A custom solution for a problem that never existed, and poorly supported. There's numerous complaints about the Blade (not just the trackpad) on the Internet.

Why 2 ipads? I'm also considering an ipad to replace my 16GB ipad 2. I hope they come out with a 256GB capacity.

My ipad was a gift and was purchased in South Africa. I've had it for almost 2 years now and never purchased a plan - although it has that capability - as I only use wi-fi.

I have to decide whether to purchase the new wi-fi only ipad rather than limit myself. Since I've not used it in 2 years, might as well stick to the wi-fi only and save the money for other accessories.

<upd>
I guess asking the question was enough to answer the question: purchase wi-fi model and if I need a monthly contract, use the other one.

I don't have a blade and I've never tried one but I have owned other Razer products including a headset and three mice. Their things have a tendency to fall apart and feel cheaply constructed.

From what I've seen on the internet the razer blade notebooks biggest issue is its trackpad. And it may seem silly that something so small, something that takes up 5% of the total computers volume could matter so much to whether it's worth purchasing or not, but it does and I wouldn't buy a notebook that has a less than perfect trackpad.

In my opinion it's one feature that Apple gets 100% perfect every time and I've yet to see a PC notebook with a trackpad anywhere close to Apples.

Agreed. Except Apple doesn't allow users to disable "Mouse Acceleration," which is a major flaw.

I can see that, I guess I would be using a usb mouse about 100% when using this notebook. But I am not going to get one any ways.

back to waiting for haswell rMBP....

Since my iMac logic board failed.. I desperately needed a new computer. So I pulled the trigger on a base rMBP 15. Will be returning it in 2 weeks to get the Haswell :D.

I've never noticed and I got my first Mac notebook a decade ago (iBook). To me the trackpads have always been great and each time they've revised them they just got better.

Man, talk about putting your money down on an a rumored Haswell release date. Gambling with that 14-day return window is something I wouldn't be willing to do quite yet. Will you be keeping the Ivy Bridge if it doesn't come out in time? Hope it works out for you though.

I won't be keeping the Ivy Bridge cause it seems ridiculous not to get Haswell as the date is coming closer (hopefully). If the 14 days isn't within the Haswell release date, I guess I'll be computer-less again (crap...). Better then being computer-less now though!

It is possible the invite will be sent out tomorrow right? Since tomorrow would be a week from the 15th :p

Oh, I see, so you'll be returning it either way, that makes sense. Don't they charge a restocking fee, or is that only after the 14 day window? #toolazytolookitup

im ready for disappointment tomorrow

a ) no silent update

b) no invites

c) wait another week for good or bad news

I'm ready for disappointment a week from tomorrow.
1. No mention of rMBP at so-called event should event take place.

I hate what this site has done to me - now I see how people join cults.

Given that other manufacturers have released Haswell updates in the past week or two, I'm slightly optimistic for an invite tomorrow for an event next week on the 15th.

has the loop always confirmed rumor release dates for apple events tho? invites tomorrow a surprise if it does or does not happen.
