WOW all these noobs. 2012's event was set to be all about ipad and it included iMac, Mini and 13 retina.

I will either get a 13" rMBP.
Or I might consider a 15" if there is a reasonably priced model with 750M
How long does it take places like amazon, adorama, etc to have the computer once its released
It was about 1.5-2 weeks when Haswelll airs came out. About three for decent stock. And they only had baseline 11" and 13" models.

You must have done something truly terrible to want to punish yourself with a Dell. Dell + Windows = match made in hell.
No, it said it will be iPad centric...meaning that will be the focus but there will be other things. Given the less than revolutionary update to the MBP's, they won't need much time to discuss it. If they are talking about Mavericks, they'll discuss the MBP's.
2012 wants to talk to you. Apple does not mind sharing the iPad's spotlight.

That's a shame then. It'd be really stupid for me to buy a new MBP right now with that in mind. Thought I'd be able to knock an extra couple hundred making it $1,400.
I'm sorry but who said the whole thing will be about the iPad? Considering the new Mac Pro is launching with Mavricks, doesn't it make sense to refresh the whole Pro lineup?
