Troll: A member of an internet forum who continually harangues and harasses others. Someone with nothing worthwhile to add to a certain conversation, but rather continually threadjacks or changes the subject, as well as thinks every member of the forum is talking about them and only them. Trolls often go by multiple names to circumvent getting banned.

One simple comment refuting a bad rumor was twisted into a pessimistic comment about the potential release date.
That said, the event has been announced. Can we wait until after it to decide if it's coming this year or next? Tensions are high, and the idiotic "it's not coming until 2014!!!!!!!!" needs to stop. We won't know anything until next week.

I'm just worried. It's true, there's nobody who can be sure of their pricing structure, but what if they turn out to be right.. I hope the price won't be a lot higher than the current, I've been saving for quite a long time now.
There's no way prices will go up considering the dwindling laptop market needs all the help it can get. That would just alienate consumers even further and drive them to iPads or PCs.
We did reach 12.000 post yesterday before the "invitation announcement", and it was just about 25h ago, and we're at 12.250, so, it's like 250 post per day, but ok, let's say that most of those 250 post was about the excitement of the invitation, let's say around 80 of them, so, we have a rate of 170 per day, in other words, in 5 day we can "easily" do 850 new post, and by the last day, I think we probably hit around 300 post (normal plus excitement post) so... I will bet that we will reach around 13.400 post by the moment of the event
Stock is low pretty much everywhere for the rMBP. Apple will definitely want to ship some new Macs with Mavericks so it's definitely coming.

You are both aware that you can change the posts-per-page in your user control panel, from as few as 5 to as many as 100, right?

Man, I was at the hockey game last night and there was this photo media guy sitting next to me taking photos through the little hole in the glass. And then editing/viewing them on his MBP during intermissions.

I do believe (and could be wrong) but, in the past any new MBP announced at an event was available that same day. Yes, no?Probably within 1-3 days. But just knowing that it's announced and coming would be great!
Yes. But it probably won't be available in stores until the 24th. But that's usual. Us who will get it custom-configured or order online should be able to place our orders right away.
I hope so 'cause I'd really like it if I could call my parents and have them order it that evening for store pickup so I can have it that night or the next afternoon. That is, if you can get the 13" with the 256gb SSD in stores. Otherwise I guess I'll have it as soon as they're shipping :/
