Waiting for Haswell MBP Mega Thread

Airs were updated at WWDC some months ago. So they already have the latest.

I doubt Apple will livestream it, but if they do, it will be announced a few hours prior to the keynote. If not, the video use to be on Apple.com within 3-4 hours.

If you'll wait for the video, you can check Macrumors's spoiler free site, which will link the video when available.
 
First thing I'm going to do when I get my MacBook Pro Tuesday:

1. Open safari
2. Reality kings .com
3. Fap (been using my phone since May)
4. Take a moment to reflect over the poor state of my sex life after finishing
5. Leave the apple store

Anyone else?

It was WWDC, so a Monday Keynote in America, available on Tuesday at Apple Stores, but the impending release of Mavericks means it's not the same circumstances this time.

hahaha! to avoid some problems you should put #5 a bit upper, at least between step 2 and step 3.
I would get a nice cover/case. My previous retina, i got scratches within a few days.
 
Well, I think I'm going to do a Michael Scott and record two videos to watch on Tuesday. One for the happy occasion that new rMBPs are announced (which would require streamers and poppers) and one sad one (just incase)

Though, I feel with all of this speculation, the former will be the video to watch ;)

It's not logical - it's emotional. I want this to happen, but I'm telling myself not to believe rumors that do not have any solid evidence. I'm still going back to WWDC.

Went to the apple store the other day and saw so many people buyin ipad mini and ipad retina.. I felt sorry, and i'm sure they wouldnt be happy to hear about a significant upgrade comin so soon for the very same price.

Good point, but I don't think an OS release hasn't stopped Apple from updating their computers. And who knows, they will probably release Mavericks tomorrow. GM has been out for a while anyways.

That's true.

Apple has released notebooks with OS X releasing the next week. I don't think that's an issue — that's the good thing about Software. You don't need to change the entire assembly to get it fixed.

As I recall latest new iMacs had an update available before they even started arriving from China. I'm hoping the Haswell rMBP's with whatever version of Mavericks will just need an update when first booted. At this point I don't think software will delay the Haswells.

Of course this could all be moot if Apple only announces the Haswell rMBP's tomorrow and their availability is a few weeks out.

I'll be royally pissed if that happens. I am sure, most folks here will write another 500 pages describing their agony.
 
Which sleeve?!

Please help me with another question.

I need a sleeve with (very close to) my rMBP 13".

I want it as sturdy, robust and protective as possibile, since I know myself... :rolleyes:

I want a basic sleeve (just a simple sleeve where you put the notebook inside) without anything else (this bag with the rMBP inside will then be carried into my shoulder bag with other documents, books etc...).

Ehi of course do not propose something that costs 200€!!
 
I wonder how it's going to be like in this thread during the event tomorrow. Going to have both the live blogs and this thread open, people here are going to flip out once they reveal the next rMBP :eek: :D

Flip out if released - cry if not. Tough situation. I badly need a notebook. I really hope there is a new one.
