Can anyone confirm or unconfirm this?

I do want the 2.3 GHz with 16 GB ram and dGPU, but I don't want the enormous ultra expensive flash drive so if this was true I'd be really happy. However, I can't really decide what to do until I know if the 2.3 and 2.6 GHz automatically gives dGPU + iris pro or not.

:(

Well checking from the ups site still says 10/28 for me. Oh man, I will be delighted if it arrives on Friday.

Mine is showing delivery as scheduled for the 24th, tomorrow. This is with standard shipping.

I feel for those who paid for expedited shipping.

Yep, I'd like to know about this too !

What?! I hate you. :(

I even changed to expedited shipping because I wanted it faster. It was one day earlier with expedited shipping (october 28 vs october 29). I would be happy even if it does show up on Friday. But I guess that's not going to happen because UPS site still shows October 28 by the end of the day for me.

Have fun with your rMBP tomorrow. :(

I wouldn't expect Friday. I'm thinking Monday or Tuesday for my BTO.

I just chat with Apple online, and they said the following:

You can upgrade to ANY CPU speed with or without NVIDIA and you do not have to get the dGPU!

Hope this helps!

Just called Apple Store in Dallas and they have the new Macbook Pro's. Going to suck up to the boss to leave early :p

I'm going for the 2.3/16/512 model

Those who are getting 24th or 25th delivery dates can you post what state you are in as well?
Virginia.

I just chat with Apple online, and they said the following:

Only CPU 2.0 and 2.3 Ghz can come with Iris Pro only. If you choose 2.6, it has to come with NVIDIA, so no 2.6 without NVIDIA even if you were customizing the lower model.

Hope this helps!
???

The Store only shows Iris Pro AND the dGPU for the 2.3 -- no 2.3 Iris Pro-only model.

Mine's not BTO though, well I don't think it is. I picked the 2.3 version with the 750M. Didn't change anything else.

Also, mine's already shipped and in transit since today morning around 2AM. Even though it's 2-3 day shipping which means it should get here by Friday at the latest (or maybe not?). Annoyingly, it still says October 28.

Ah. Then you might be able to get it by Friday. It's just weird that base models are going to possibly be arriving that late.

I hope so!

Although realistically, since they shipped on 10/23 and it's 2-3 day, the latest is actually on Monday. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping it gets here early though.

I wish they shipped with USPS since they work on Saturdays :D

First, I edited my response. Second, all models are available with all CPU speeds with iGPU only and also with NVIDIA.
First, that happened after I responded.

Second, that would be great, but it's certainly not shown under any of the listings/options on the Apple Store MacBook pages.

My BTO has a delivery estimate of the 28th-30th. I'm hoping for Tuesday if not Monday.

Wow, apple offers discount on Applecare if you're a student too. It's $239, the same as B&H!

I got that, too. I'm a contractor and my current project is at a university. perfect timing. I got the edu discount and also cheaper apple care.

MacMall is not a good deal because of the delay and I also have to pay tax.

If you start with the cheaper 15" 2.0/8/256 model you will have Iris Pro only. Even if you BTO and upgrade the Processor to 2.3 or 2.6, you do not add the GT 750M.

If you start with the 15" 2.3/16/512 you get both the Iris Pro and GT 750M.

It's possible to start with the 2.0/8/256 and BTO upgrade it to 2.3/16/512. It will cost the same as the higher end base 15", but you don't get the GT 750M by doing so.

So it's not possible to get a 2.0 GHz CPU with the GT 750M. Nor can you get less than 16 GB of RAM or 512 SSD.

Friday delivery for me , i'm in California I ordered the 2.3 with 512gb storage, 16 gb of ram, and the 750m.
