Waiting for Skylake MBP thread

everyone going to be live-posting in this thread during the event or has another place been selected by us long-sufferers?

EDIT: just noticed i've just now gone from macrumors newbie to macrumors member. what a time to be alive. and that doesn't count the 2+ years i spent lurking.

Not a fan of touch strips or new keyboard. I could adapt to keyboard most likely if it has good travel on it.
 
Honestly I have absolutely no unreasonable expectations, I'm happy for the storage/memory configurations to be the same as the current models, i'm happy if they only include 4 USB/TB3 ports all I ask is for a decent keyboard.


Hope they are everything you want them to be folks. You've waited for them long enough!

is my vodka good? no it's actually dangerous. it's really hard to differentiate it from water. no burn and zero after-taste. only experienced drinkers should drink this because of how easy you can get drunk. lmao. :D

Actually, everyone on this thread already have. They are thinner, but not that thinner.
And the advancements in iGPU are not enough for a decent GPU.
They are going to use a dGPU, and there is no way in the entire universe is going to be NVIDIA.

My oh my, I couldn't even imagine that the iGPU of the Intel CPU focused on increasing graphic performances would have been better of a crappy rebranded downpowered GPU.

In the end, I don't get at all the sense of your posts.
You had to wait until 24 hours from the release to raise those doubts? o_O
Anyway, given the (even poor) rumors we had so far, I'm predicting AMD Polaris.

yeah I'm in the US. it's actually a pretty popular vodka. I'd say up there with Belvedere, Grey Goose, Absolut, Svedka, and Smirnoff. I'm not sure how you haven't seen it.

really cheap too. $20 for a 1.75L where I live.
 
After watching the Microsoft keynote today I can't help but expect another Apple disappointment tomorrow.

I bet we'll end up with a 13" MBP with the same resolution, same 8 GB of RAM, no dGPU, probably starting at 256 GB and $1499. It will feature just the weakest Skylake 28V CPUs available anywhere on the planet and drop all connectivity standards currently in existence, thereby requiring users to buy another 5 to 10 new cables and adapters or a fancy new dock that will retail for just $249. Of course, the MBP will be solely available in that stupid silver color nobody can stand any longer and the only interface improvement will be a trackpad gaining 6mm in width. Oh, and they'll raise prices for Europe of course. But hey, I'm sure we'll get some Snapchat-style flower crown and doggy filters in Facetime!
