"Differential privacy" - Apple's OSs look more and more like the M$ Windows 10 Spyware. You can't do anything without the "cloud". Most of the features scream user data manipulation. In every keynote, they insist they care about the privacy, yet, in every keynote, they go in the other direction one small step at the time.
Why can't we have devices interaction without the iCloud? Even a simple file transfer though AirDrop requires a contact list validation (which probably does a cross-check with the other device through iCloud), you can't do a manual device validation. We're in 2016 and instead of having standardization and openness, I can't even send or receive one file to/from a non-Apple device. But I really need Siri to search through my computer to tell me what I like, and I really really need iCloud drive to store my data, because Apple is still selling 16GB phones with 16GB 100€ premium upgrades, instead of having 128GB phones as a standard, and 4GiB RAM, 128GB SSD Macbook Airs instead of 16GiB RAM, 256GB SSD MBAs as a standard.
Why would I want to send HomeKit commands from far away though iCloud, and not connect directly to my home through a secure protocol forwarded through my router? Just because Apple didn't release anything about any hacking activity, it doesn't mean my data is 100% safe. It would be an eye opener for most of the people if they'd see on the news how some crackers opened the doors and lights to all owners of HomeKit-enabled homes.
I'm not saying everything in these keynotes are bad, there are some things that really enable better usability for watches, TVs and iOS devices, but there are some things that definitely could have been made better when it comes to privacy and connectivity - and the problem is I don't see those things change anytime soon.
