Anyone else having problem with the smart stack? After yesterday update to b3 all my widgets got mixed up and even when I put them back in the right order, after pressing 'Done' button they get mixed up again :( I even tried to delete all of them and set my order again but it didn't help.

Yep, annoying.

I use the large Reminders compilation but it only displays one reminder from Due Today. I love to display 2 or even 3 todos. Are there any other options available in WatchOS 26? Fingers crossed 🤞

Anyone else noticing activity data gaps in beta 3?

Something seems to stop working which results in activity data and regular heart rate readings not being recorded.

When it stops recording readings, the ECG app will not open at all and the heart rate app will not take a reading.

It is resolved temporarily with a reboot.

It happened yesterday and I lost about 4 hours data, and then again today where it didn’t lose any as it seemed to recover it after a reboot.

This is a new issue in beta 3 - feedback filed, not that they even have the courtesy to acknowledge them these days.

How are the non-Ultra Hermès peeps doing? S9 here. I restarted yesterday morning after leaving it on "preparing" overnight and I thought there was a good chance it had stalled. On "successful" attempt (that is, got past the download) two I have now been on "preparing" for over 24 hours. The progress bar is inching — I should say, pixel-ing. Looks to be at >90% (using Watch app on the iPhone) and I am wondering whether I am just imagining that it has progressed from the start of the "w" of "preview" to the bottom of the first "v"…!

Anyone who has done this tried toggling off low power? Obviously then it will burn the battery faster than it can charge, but I am wondering if the install efficiency will offset?

Upgraded seamlessly from 11 beta stream to 26b3 and working well

S8 (bought on launch). Using mostly for notifications, compass, and maps guidance whilst sightseeing around a city. After about 13 hours I’m on 52pc which is fine for my needs

For anyone still dealing with this, it worked: B3 is installed. Low power mode definitely slowed it down a lot — like 27 hours — as I saw toggling it off, the "preparing" was a lot faster. But, it did indeed burn down the battery and I'm not convinced I would have got to being able to install without doing much of the waiting in low power mode.

Roll on the PB: I think I am ready to stay let's say in the vanguard, but maybe not in the very first wave…! :)

Battery life is absolutely terrible on beta 3 on my U1. It dropped from 95% to 25% in about 11 hours. Not good.. won't even last a full day anymore. I used to be able to get through a day (24 hours) with about 30% left!

It can’t connect any longer to the machines in my gym (it was very nice to have the real distance while running in the treadmill).

Do you guys think that will be solved later in in watch os 26? Or likely the machines need to be updated (I don’t think that would happen)
Just to report that this issue has been solved in the beta 3 for iOS (haven't updated watchOS yet).

Definitely not good. Mine went from 83% at 8 am to 45% now, 7:16 pm, including a 40 minute workout. That seems more aligned to what you used to get. Also an ultra 1

Kind of the same story every year with early betas. I tend to stay away until the PB2 is around

Something very strange happened today with workout buddy. I decided to try and get it to work again so I paired everything correctly (earbuds connected to watch (s10) and watch connected to phone with Apple Intelligence). I started the workout (outdoor walk) and after finishing my first segment (only .5 mile) I didn’t hear anything from workout buddy so I turned off Bluetooth real quick and my earbuds connected to my phone instead so it was easier to listen to music. After my second segment though I hear workout buddy (the voice was very annoying to be honest but interesting to hear what it said) and double checked that my earbuds were connected to my phone, which it was! How did this happen?! I thought it was just an unusual thing but hear workout buddy another two times after my next two segments before I ended my workout. I am genuinely confused on how this happened.

I never got mine to work. So you're saying you turned off the bluetooth on your watch?

Can you try walking longer for at least a mile? My walking workouts have automatic splits every mile.

Hey, it’s a bit unusual for an Apple Watch Ultra to run out of juice so quickly, especially since it’s designed to last a long time. It’s kind of like how a regular Apple Watch might behave.

By the way, did you happen to use cellular data while you were working out with your Apple Watch? 💪

No, my carrier is a mess and they haven't been able to allow me to use Apple Watch cellular data since I migrated to my iPhone 16 Pro Max. After several visits and hours on the phone, I gave up and always have my phone with me.
