Weirdest of weird bugs on my Ultra 2 With watchOS 26B4. All workouts work perfectly except for the outdoor cycle workout. On that one, I cannot end the workout. The large X which normally stops it just doesn't function And I have to reboot the watch to get out of that workout. Very annoying indeed, as that's the one I use twice a day. I have reported this to Apple.

I'm seeing issues with workouts (cycling ones specifically, not tried others) refusing to end either from iPhone or watch, unless I restart my watch. I press end from my iPhone usually, so I don't yet know what happens if I try to end it directly from the watch first.
Me too 'X' to stop working out on watch does not function

I’m finding the sleep tracking is tracking less deep sleep than normal. How is everyone’s experience so far with sleep tracking in this beta version?
I'm tracking a lot less deep sleep, but I'm also testing a CPAP machine and a device which wakes me up if I sleep on my back, so I'm not sure what is causing this. But quite definitely I was always showing 15-25% deep sleep, and now I'm showing about 5-10%.

I'm replying to my own post, but I just checked the feedback app, and it shows "similar reports, more than 10" on this problem. That means there's a huge number of people getting the same problem, and it's pretty certainly going to be fixed soon.

Any new updates on the battery life of the public beta for the series 10?? I’m still doubting as I’m going on holidays. Ipads and iPhones are on the public beta’s and working fine.

No, just plain workout activity.

Today I had the same issue, I couldn't finish my cycling activity.

Looks like a widespread bug to be honest! Please DO file it in feedback assistant and put up y’all’s feedback IDs so others experiencing the problem can link them together! It’ll help Apple get our attention that somethings really needed to fix!

On my end I don’t see this bug on my Workout app on my Apple Watch.

If you want to have bugs and almost no new features, it’s a good idea to update before holidays.

I can understand there is a bit of curiosity for the new UI in iOS 26 and it’s tempting to install the beta (and it’s possible to rollback)
But for watchOS, I don’t see the point if you are afraid of battery life and want to use your watch normally.

No issues so far on my Hermes ultra 2 will need some time to see battery. So far today have been out and about for 3 hours it is at 98%

Same, Series 9

More than 10 recent similar reports.
Force-quitting the Workout app and re-launching it let me then end the workout normally.

Has anyone had issues with messages not being marked as read on watch messages app after reading on iPhone ? As well as messages being delivered to watch with phone unlocked.

Reported outdoor cycling bug with FB19117418
Same, Series 9
Oh no, another big bug here! It’s now impacting cyclists who are out and about on their bikes, whether they’re doing regular outdoor cycling or mountain biking! Put y’all’s feedback ids, and file for feedback on your iPhone if y’all are experiencing the same problem! I hope it’s not on indoor cycling either…

@michaelward82, which Apple Watch models are experiencing this bug? It seems like most of the affected users are wearing Apple Watch Ultra, and there’s also one series 9 user. I’m really curious to know what series you wear for your Apple Watch that’s experiencing this issue.

❌ nope. Which Apple Watch series is it experiencing this problem?

Try restarting both your Apple Watch and your iPhone 📱
