No, my carrier is a mess and they haven't been able to allow me to use Apple Watch cellular data since I migrated to my iPhone 16 Pro Max. After several visits and hours on the phone, I gave up and always have my phone with me.
Rly?
What carrier is your iPhone on? I have T-Mobile but I don’t use cellular on my Apple Watch Series 6 cos I have my iPhone on me at all times.

EE UK did the same thing to mine! I went round in circles with them on the phone and in the end just gave up!

Can you try walking longer for at least a mile? My walking workouts have automatic splits every mile.
Well I went two miles and heard it at my second split (1 mile, i changed the splits to 0.5 from the preset 1 mile) as well as my third (1.5 miles) and fourth (2 miles) but didn’t hear anything after ending the workout (2.14 miles) although I’m not sure you are supposed to anyway

That’s normal then. Occasionally that’s when the trainer congratulates you for doing a run or long walk

Upgraded seamlessly from 11 beta stream to 26b3 and working well

S8 (bought on launch). Using mostly for notifications, compass, and maps guidance whilst sightseeing around a city. After about 13 hours I’m on 52pc which is fine for my needs
Continuing to work well.

First day at home after a more active holiday. Been off charger for about 7 hours, and battery on my S8 is at 80%

Same story here! I had a week off work, so I decided to take a holiday.

My Apple Watch Series 6 is doing great with Beta 3 watchOS 26, and the battery life is holding up well today. I charged it up after a night of sleep tracking and a morning 30m workout in the hotel gym, and then I took it off the charger at 10:23 am when I packed my tech stuff, organised everything and got ready to check out.

It’s even better than Beta 1 and 2!

For anyone still dealing with this, it worked: B3 is installed. Low power mode definitely slowed it down a lot — like 27 hours — as I saw toggling it off, the "preparing" was a lot faster. But, it did indeed burn down the battery and I'm not convinced I would have got to being able to install without doing much of the waiting in low power mode.

Roll on the PB: I think I am ready to stay let's say in the vanguard, but maybe not in the very first wave…! :)
My S9 Hermès also took 30 hr+ to prepare the update. I couldn’t risk turning off the low power mode and have it die before updating. I was on business trip moving a lot, so I had it tied to the charger and power bank with rubber band secured in my bag. Glad I had the persistance because Beta 3 fixed it.

It takes time but it’s still worth updating to a version of watchOS beta that has the necessary bug fixes!!!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to share something cool about Apple Watch sleep tracking. If you’ve ever slept in with your Apple Watch and used the watchOS 11 beta or the official release, it turns out they’ve been tracking your sleep even after the wake-up alarm goes off!

I had a similar experience today because I was super tired from a long trip and woke up an hour and a half later than usual. Guess what? The watch still tracked my sleep! Also, in iOS and watchOS 26 beta, you can see your sleep stages, which is awesome. But, in the older versions of iOS 18/watchOS 11, they only showed asleep/in bed time as the extra sleep tracking.
