Can someone who has had experience with the Pitaka cases tell me the differences between the Air and MagEZ? Also, are the Pitaka cases level with the phone screen or is it raised?

I have the Air and it’s level with the screen. I think the MagEZ is a thicker case, more rugged.

I’m now leaning toward the Apple Clear case. I’m not excited about the visible ring but I’ll get over it. I have the clear case on my 11 Pro and really like it for a case. I still wish Apple would build the iPhone so it doesn’t need a case. Yes the iPhone is a work of art...until you put on a case.

I *think* I'm going with the apple silicone case until the sleeve comes out, and then will use it for cirumstances like hiking, camping, festivals...etc where the phone will need a case.

My last phones I have used the Spigen rubbery plastic slim case without any screen protector.

I may go that way again, or I may splurge and get the Apple leather case. One or the other for sure.

One of these for my Blue 12.

It’s not compatibility with Apple’s MagSafe charger (which I am not purchasing) that I’m focusing on, it’s having the magnet (or metal ring - has anyone confirmed which is in the case?) in a MagSafe case that will allow for stronger bonding with a magnetic car mount, for example.
I think that's a completely unwarranted assumption, but I'll be interested in seeing a test result.

I stopped using a case with my iPhone 4s. I started again with the iPhone 6, but only for like a month. Every year until now I always purchase Apple’s leather case and use it for about a week and then never touch it again, my iPhone 11 Pro case is still sitting on a shelf. This year I’m actually going to save the money and just not buy one.

I tried that case very briefly with my iPhone XS, and was actually quite happy with that brand. Mine was a soft rubber

I received my Caudabe case for the 12 Mini I'll be ordering, and I pulled out my old 5 to check the size difference. It's close enough, and I can't wait to have a small phone again....

thanks!

will this work with the offi magsaf charger or does the case need a magnet too

I’m looking for a nice sleeve for the blue 12. Any suggestions? I was hoping Harber London would have released their offering by now but nothing yet... :(

I definitely also think the Apple clear cases are super ugly. I'm waiting to see what people have to say about the magsafe charger. On one hand they were epic on the macbooks, on the other hand, it defeats the purpose of a wireless charger. You have to pull it off the back, rather than just grab and go on a regular wireless charger. At that point I feel like maybe it's the same as just using a regular plug in charger.

I agreed with you. I think the Apple clear cases with the magentic is kinda blah... If they had matching colors with the phones (I know that's going be too much), it would probably look nicer.

I also agreed with you regarding the meaning of "MagSafe"... these aren't "MagSafe", just Magentic chargers Lol... I can understand what they're trying to do tho... replacing the removing ports from the phone with the use of these magentic chargers instead... which both requires two hands to take off (and one hand to plug in for the magnetic charger). I am ok with these "wireless chargers", I been using one since the Xs Max.

I ordered my momma the Plum case for her 12 & my dad the black case for his 12... Planning on ordering myself either the green, blue or black for the 12 Pro Max. I ordered the magsafe cases from Apple (instead of the clear case that I usually get from Amazon) because I kinda like the "magsafe" charging for the iPhone, plus I am looking forward for the iPhone and Watch charger in one from Apple too...

I am thinking of possibly getting the Spigen Quartz Hybrid clear case. The back of the case is tempered glass which is nice.

UAG, period...end of discussion.

I’ve walked 5,000 miles with their Pathfinder case and have climbed the biggest mountains in the United States of America... it is drop tested :cool:View attachment 964536
& after making it from 🇲🇽 to 🇨🇦 twice...the iPhone OG SE had no dents or scratches. Other cases are too heavy or too light and don’t offer enough protection. The iPhone 12 will mirror the OG SE. This is the ticket, y’all
Oh god that’s U G L Y you ain’t got no alibi

I’m getting Apple care, a super thin case and screen protector. YOLO I’ll get a thick case if I am down to my last replacement lol

I bought the Blue silicone case just so that I would have something, but it's so ugly and already such a lint magnet even before I have the phone that it's going back.

Yeah I also bought the deep navy silicone case, but I’ll be returning it. I haven’t even opened it, but I know from all the videos I’ve seen that I don’t like it.
