Iphone xi design and power in the same dimensions as the regular iPhone. Something that no one else is doing. :)

An iMac refresh with a SSD as the base model.
A MacBook price drop to replace the MBA as the entry level Mac.
An iPhone with OLED/edge to edge for the rest of us.
Update Messages for the Mac. It sucks compared to iOS.

No way I'll get my wishes fulfilled, as Apple's road and my road are currently diverging more and more (I didn't leave, it's Apple who left the boat):

1- Because the MacBook is the best laptop in the market, and because I want big displays: 14inch (or bigger) MacBook with no fans and weighting no more than 1Kg.

2- Because Apple no longer has the slightest clue about what a Mac is nor about what the Mac user wants to do: Open source MacOS (I mean, not just Darwin, but the whole MacOS --and open sourcing iOS would be welcome too, as I'm not going to tolerate any further coercive Apple strategies regarding privacy and users choices: I told I'm fed up with Apple, and I mean it).

No way I'll get them fulfilled, but you asked, so...

In our recent What to Expect post, we covered everything we think we'll see from Apple in 2018 based on the current rumors that are circulating about the company's 2018 plans.

Three new iPhones are on the horizon, one a followup to the iPhone X, one that will serve as an "iPhone X Plus" with a larger OLED display, and one with an LCD display that will be positioned as a low to midrange device with a cheaper price tag. Apple's first smart speaker, the HomePod, will come out in 2018, and we're also expecting a revamped iPad Pro, refreshed Macs, and new software, but there's always a chance for a wildcard update or new product that will surprise us all.

A high-end modular Mac Pro, new original TV shows, AR smart glasses, and autonomous driving software are all products Apple is working on, with no official release date known. We want to hear from the MacRumors community -- what are you expecting or hoping to see Apple release in 2018?

Are there specific features you're hoping Apple will implement in iOS 12, tvOS 12, watchOS 5, or macOS 10.14? Popular wishlist items for last year included a dark mode for iOS, a customizable Control Center (which happened!), animated icons, iPhone complications, a swipe-based keyboard, offline Maps and Siri, and more.

Let us know what you want to see in the comments, and make sure to check out our What to Expect post to get a glimpse at the current rumors. Apple's plans for 2018 will become more clear in the early months of the year, and as always, we'll be covering every rumor that pops up in-depth here at MacRumors.

The MacRumors forums are also a rich resource for discussing upcoming products and rumors, and with so many exciting changes on the horizon for 2018, our forums are the place to be for lively discussions on what's coming.

We'd like to thank all of our readers and forum members for making MacRumors the absolute best source for Apple news, rumors, and advice on the web. We wouldn't be here without you, and we look forward to yet another rumor-packed year in 2018.

New Mac Mini for us on fixed incomes.

I happen to own the 2016 13" w/Touch Bar model. There's nothing wrong with it. What do you want to see changed?
An option to have a high-end model without the touch bar. It is the main reason I had to return the model I bought because it slowed me down so much, and I found it completely gimmicky and useless for my purposes (plus it adds to loss of battery life to boot and is expensive). The keyboard is terrible as well. It makes my hand cramp after short typing periods and even a spec of dust can cause the keys to jam and you have to go buy a can of compressed air to jostle it loose. I like typing on my $300 Chromebook more than the MacBook Pro. Better port options would also help so that we don't have to carry around so many dongles, and a mag-safe equivalent because a useful feature was removed, but there was nothing to replace it. Also it would be nice if they hurried up with the external GPU feature.

1. Stop radiating my brain with all that wireless wi-fi/Bluetooth crap (e.g. new iMac Pro has no wired keyboard)
2. Apple monitors: in different form sizes: e.g. 22 inch and 27 inch: non-reflective please
2. Upgrades for the existing R2D2 Mac Pro ... what's the point of a new modular Mac Pro, if you can't even buy new graphic cards for it? Happy to see a new modular Mac Pro too.
3. MacOS that stops trying to act like (flat) iOS
4. MacBook with 2 ports (so I can ethernet and power at the same time, without a hub)
5. Update: iPad mini

i do most of my stuff online but

Denver:
the local mall charges for parking. Even if parking was free its a hassle getting through all the parking lot gates and junk.

guess where the flag ship apple store is located... in the mall

why bother

New modular Mac Pro, and overall just and better prices in Brasil!
And if they **** the batteries, at least they do a free exchange, not slow down older iPhones, like mine 4s.

High prices in Brasil are due to the taxes over there...

I'd actually like a touch-screen capable Macbook Pro (ie, tablet/laptop hybrid). It's getting hard to justify buying an iPad AND MacBook while the Surface continues to exist. Yes, it's Windows, but it's running on hardware that I'd actually like to own.

A mini HomePod that would compete directly with the Dot.

I agree. The HomePod will be a device for those who want a home audio/smart Speaker, but not at the price Point of $350.00. Having a smaller, more affordable option diversifies the line up. I know the HomePod has not launched yet, but hopefully in the future after the launch of the HomePod, Apple will offer a smaller variant that can have the same functionality, but perhaps may not deliver the audio experience the more expensive HomePod would for those who want that.

I know Apple wants the HomePod to be more than a smart speaker, they want to bring a premium listening experience in the household, but having a smaller HomePod 'Mini' could be one of those devices that also could be used in other rooms in the house and have the larger HomePod in the most frequented room acting as a central hub as well.

1. New upgradeable Mac Mini with a good hardware refresh (quad or 6 core i9 CPU, 16gb of ram, decent onboard video card, lots of USB 3 and Thunderbolt ports).

2. Apple scraps the notch on the iPhone X revision. Adds back touch ID on the side with the iPhone X Plus.

3. Space gray wireless keyboard available to buy separately.

4. New Apple Cinema 5k Display.

1. Mac mini with an i7 quad core coffee lake, and user swappable ram/ssd
2. Macbook Pro with normal ports, longer keystrokes, user swappable ram/ssd
3. Mac Pro with plenty of internal space for industry standard HDDs, RAM, GPUs, etc.

4. Treat MacOS as a powerful desktop OS, not an unwanted cousin of iOS.

Not holding my breath and not expecting to buy any Apple products in 2018, but always hoping.
