Agree Card Hunter is far better. I really dislike the games like Slay the Spire and Across the Obelisk where you simply have characters lined up in a row. Borefest.

This is very much an adult game the touches on some very dark subjects. That said is a game to play, one that will make you think. Originally a Doom II conversion mod that was 15 years in the making. Now a full standalone game at a very decent price. If into survival horror Total Chaos is a must play...
Total Chaos is a total conversion mod for Doom 2 that runs on the GZDoom source port. The mod is a survival horror set on a remote island known as Fort Oasis. The island was once run by a community of coal miners which one day suddenly disappeared, leaving...

I’ve not yet watched these videos, but is the intent to faithfully ressurect Morrowind? I once tried it after playing Oblivion, but it was too primitive graphically for me at that point.

Is on MODDB so is legit and likely better than what the clowns at Bungie/Microsoft dish up. Is an awesome play 😎

Nothing, just a Window's PC, read the page as don't need all the files for single player. This is HALO in its purest form... Always one of my first installs.

In ancient times, the land of Isigwere was terrorized by monsters led by Leinad, the Demon Lord. His reign of terror ended when a group of heroes defeated him and sealed him deep underground. After their victory, the heroes disappeared, and a maze was built to prevent the Demon Lord from escaping, should he awaken again.
Today, the seal is broken, and monsters swarm the maze as the moment of the Demon Lord's reincarnation draws near. Adventurers from all over the world have gathered together to defeat Leinad once again.
Read the manual you'll thank me, map yourself or can DL on the web or buy the supporter pack. Has great atmosphere and ambient music. Note this is a difficult old school dungeon crawler that requires learning & thought to progress, equally is ever more satisfying as you progress.
I'm just sitting down to play A Plague Tale: Innocence. I actually came across the soundtrack for it's sequel on YouTube a few days ago 😂 I've done my best to avoid looking up anything that would give spoilers, but so far everything I've seen has said both games are great...so I bought both and am going in with somewhat higher expectations!
Now that I have finally finished both games, I have to say…FANTASTIC!!! Loved the story, the gameplay was fun (with a few frustrating parts which actually made it all the more satisfying to make it through those parts), and there were quite a few times where it seemed like the music was made to match up with what you were doing, which made for some pretty cool scenes!
The first game is A Plague Tale: Innocence and the second is Requiem.
Requiem does a darn good job at leading you towards knowing how it’s going to end…and it does that starting from pretty early on in the game. Be warned: it’s kind of a gut punch of a game, but I loved every second of it!
What follows may be a bit spoiler-ish, so if you haven’t played these games but think you might (and care about spoilers, this is probably where you’ll want to stop reading).
By the time I got to the final villain battle, I was 99% sure I knew how it was going to end, but at the same time, I still had a little sliver of hope that I was wrong. Part way through that battle, there is a shift in the music after a cutscene, and that 99%…went right up to 100%. Despite knowing what was coming, the how of it was painful. There is also a final boss of sorts that might actually teach you a little something about yourself…I really like how they did that!
There is supposed to be another game coming out centered around a character from Requiem. I’m definitely interested. The developers have earned my money for sure!

Yep, I want to say I heard it was supposed to be this year, but I'm not sure!
The after-credits cutscene of the second game interested me too, but I'm not sure if it's purpose was to set up an eventual sequel...or just to show you that "yeah, this is never going away". But yes, the next game coming is a prequel! Innocence and Requiem told their stories of the two main characters and that story is over, so really the only way to go after Requiem is to do prequels or do a sequel with different characters.

Space Hulk pits Space Marine terminators against Tyranid genestealers in the cramped confines of an eponymous 'space hulk', a mass of ruined space vessels melded together into a single deadly maze. Surprisingly the mod scene is strong & vibrant with new updates just this month 🙂
Game got off to a rough start in 2016 as was buggy and IMO unfinished. At least the dev team stuck with it and subsequently released the Enhanced Edition in 2018. Game can be very challenging and think that's why some put the game down, the enhanced version has been flawless for me. Difficulty is no joke especially if you want to 100% on the hardest level, but when you do it's earned not given...
Think the problem with Space Hulk: Deathwing is that many simply don't understand the game or it's lore. It goes back to the 1989 Warhammer 40,000 board game, which was notorious for the amount of space required and the extreme difficulty of play. There's been multiple digital iterations over the years all with the same brutally hard turn-based strategy. I used to play it on the Amiga in the day and while difficult was a firm favourite.
The Space Hulk 2013 & 2015 re-releases have just arrived on GOG so will like pick them up sooner or later 😎 Back to Space Hulk: Deathwing, the game is literally a representation of the original game only in the FPS format and that's what screws most people up. I don't know much about Warhammer 40K, but I do know about Space Hulk. What I see today on my display is exactly what I imagine the board game & earlier strategy based computer games would be come to life the 3D realm. Multiplayer amplifies further with more builds & challenges for the players.
Was going to write more words on this but it's already been done better here at:
