Ordered Nov 18. Now due in store on black Friday, but hoping it got in late yesterday and any minute I will get a notice to come pick it up!
It worked! Just saw the notice. Apple hear I come. Plus I won't have to fight the black Friday mob!

Ordered mine today (about twelve hours ago) expected delivery by the 10-12th of December. Baseline model with BTO upgrade to the 5500m 4GB GPU.

Ordered Nov 19th. 2.4/5500M 8GB/64 GB/2 TB. Ship to store (Texas, USA). Scheduled for delivery by Dec 6th.
Flipped on Friday to shipped to store status. Pickup date changed yesterday to Dec 2nd (originally was Dec 6th). I also received my invoice in email yesterday.

Arrived at store and ready for pickup. 9 days earlier than promised. Good job Apple.

Congratulations, when was your original delivery date?
December 5, then moved up to Nov29, but got it today. Still transferring data from my old MBP. Wow, all the hype about the speakers is true. Sounds like a miniature component stereo system. Can't wait to try a Dolby Atmos movie on it. Wasn't really after the speaker improvement, but it is impressive for a laptop.

So far fit and finish look good. Only issue is the migration assistant defaults to a slow wifi transfer and doesn't recognize that I have USB C connected between the macs. It never works without a hitch, in my experience.

I ordered mine yesterday (i9/32GB/1TB/5500M 8GB) and the order page says it would be ready for collection on 11th December. I think that's a long wait! I am hoping it would be delivered to the store before that. I am based in UK and it seems you guys in States are getting your systems sooner than us.

I ordered the exact same configuration as you on Tuesday the 26th. The website had provided a Dec 11 delivery date for in-store pickup. The date just got revised to Dec 5, and I can see that the UPS shipment (searching by reference number) just left China. I’m hoping Apple under-promises and over-delivers so that I can get my machine before the 5th.

That sounds encouraging. Hopefully they will ship it soon. I contacted Apple about changing shipping from "standard" to one of the expedited ones but apparently you cannot do it after placing the order.

Doesn’t seem that I’ll get any bumps from the shape of things.

Same here i thought i would be lucky as well and get a delivery bump, the day is ending and still same DHL shipment information received! So maybe anytime next week

Got it set up last night. Transfer went well and everything is installed just like my 2018, but runs faster and smoother. Loving it so far!

Rec’d mine today after UPS had sent it around the UK on a 2 day extended journey. Ordered abt an hour after the announcement.

2.4/64/8/2

was worried about damage and I was right to be so. External box damaged, so receipt signed for stating damage.

Internal white box crushed at one corner.

I know the MBP is probably alright but with spending that much money... anyways send pics to Apple and immediately they said they would send a replacement. Delivery 9 to 11 Dec

Was also told that I could open the box and use it until the replacement arrives and then just hand it back.

totally awesome customer service.. original laptop prob ok, but....

Ordered the base model on 11.18 from Hungary. The email about the order said 12.02 delivery date. Package left Shanghai on 11.23. (card charged) and arrived to Cologne, Germany on 11.24. UPS moved up delivery date to 11.28. Then the package sat in Cologne for 4 (!!) days without any movement. Checked the UPS site again on the morning of the planned delivery date but to my surprise it was moved to 12.02. Then I checked it again this morning and now it's moved to 12.03.

This is an awkward experience but at least the package has left Germany now and it's stored at UPS facility in Hungary.

UK here,

20.11 - order placed for a BTO 2.6/32/1TB/5300 - Estimated delivery: 3-5 Dec
24.11 - Preparing to Ship
25.11 - Shipped with tracking number provided (DHL). Apple website shows delivery on the 3rd.
27.11 - Received an invoice in my email
28.11 - Paypal got charged
29.11 - DHL still shows as Shipment information received

I was hoping to get it today had it been delivered to Netherlands yesterday but I guess the estimated delivery date will hold and hopefully I will see it on the 3rd.

And wife called that the package has arrived today. What a mess. :)

UPS seems to be very quick.

This is the first time Apple is delivering something via DHL to me and it seems to be a mess...why does it need to go through Netherlands - I've no idea. Previously they used UPS and I had clear tracking from the point when it left the factory to my door whereas with DHL you get meaningless tracking that tells you nothing about the location of your device until it is actually very close to you - so it is a bit pointless.
But...there we go - just have to wait :)
