Go to UPS.com tracking and hit "Track by Reference Number". Then try entering any of the following:
  • Your web order number
  • Your phone number (without area code)
  • The serial number of your machine (find it in your Apple invoice)
You'll be able to see where your machine is located as it travels to the store.

I tried all of that. But it seems not to be working on UPS. It did work Fedex, though it only says "In Transit"

Mine got delivered today. Ordered on the 27th of November. Not bad at all, estimated delivery on order was on the 10th of December.

Mine was delivered to store today, 5 days before the slated date! I am on my way to to collect it. I am chuffed about the whole episode as now I can take it with me for the trip next week.

Mine says export scan. Is Anchorage next? Not sure if it’s the same as the iPhones.

The airplanes used for freight typically are older and have less range than the passenger aircraft of today so most will stop at Anchorage.

That’s what I heard in a very informative YouTube video about fedex a few months ago. Someone posted a link in the iPhone 11 delivery thread.

That is how my order went. Here is a section of the UPS status report. I assume all times are local.

Just placed a BTO and the estimated arrival date is 17th to 19th here in Denmark. A bit longer than I anticipated, but we will see. 😇

That’s what I’m expecting to see. I’m a little behind now.

My i9 2.3, 32 GB, 5500M 8GB, 1 TB is on the UPS truck on the way to the Apple Store!

For UPS, Anchorage is their point of entry into North America (from Asia). From there, everything goes through Ontario California (West coast hub) or Louisville Kentucky (East coast hub).

You can see the routes complied from publicly available flight information.

https://www.flightradar24.com/data/airlines/5x-ups/routes

If those are the hubs I am surprised that my unit went through Kentucky yesterday. I live near the Silicon Valley, 300 miles from Long beach, and 1800+ miles from Kentucky

I guess it does not matter though. The unit is now at the office. I just need to find some time to drive over an pick it up. :(

Ordered my 2nd MBP 16 on 11/24 with an initial delivery between Dec 4th - 6th. There was an issue with the payment that I wasn't notified about until 3 days later. After I cleared that up, delivery date stayed the same until 12/1 when I got an update that the computer had shipped but the delivery date was now 12/10. Slightly annoying because I paid for expedited shipping. However, when I followed the link to FEDEX tracking on 12/3/2019, the delivery date was 12/5/2019, but ended up being delivered a day early on 12/4/2019.

Not sure what all the confusion was about but I got my i9 MBP 16 yesterday on 12/4/2019.

MBP16 BTO (2.4/64GB/8GB/1TB) went Shanghai > Osaka > Anchorage > Louisville within 36 hours. Louisville > final destination was delayed.
