What is your real-world monthly data use?

I usually come close to, but don't exceed, my 1.5GB allowance. However, excess data charges are covered by my included call credit, and since I hardly make calls, I can safely use at least 2GB of excess data before paying any extra.

(it's unlimited, but the network has said they wouldn't expect anyone to use more than 1TB in a month)

I've been as high as 24 GB and as low as 5 or 6. Plus wifi usage. My wife has a 4S (soon to be a 6), so with her sure to be increased usage on LTE, I'm sure hers will go up as well.

I've done the math and I can't find a plan that doesn't overcharge me for the "light" months, but won't gouge me for the heavy months. If there's a shared plan, it'll only get worse. I can't give up my unlimited data plan, so I'm a full price buyer and sell off the old ones and/or pass them down.

If you stream music sign up for spotify premium or beats premium and cache the music to your device

If people that use more than 5 GB per month put their time towards something useful this country would be in a much better spot.

Simple analysis from reading these posts. Anyone using more than 5 GB are either unemployed or employed and not working since they spending all the time on their phone. Or students that obviously spend more time on their phone then schoolwork.

Please no excuses. If You have wifi at home there is no excuse to go over 5 per month which is high.

For the people here bragging they use over 5 per month you seriously need to look at what your doing with your life and how much time you're wasting playing with your phone

I have a 20GB monthly data plan but I use an average of 7GB.
Sometimes I use the personal hotspot of my iPhone since my LTE connection is faster than my ADSL

You are clearly trolling and not looking at the real facts . My line was sold to me as a home internet connection replacement and has no voice plan attached to it so I am not sure how you want to pull a random number out of your booty like 5gigs and say that should be the limit for all 😕 So your against people using cellular internet for internet service in homes? Cause that's the only option I have with all the trees around here

Funny, my high usage is directly caused by my job. Not a lack of or wasting time on the job. Great work bucketing all users into your narrow minded view. Bravo.
