From what year?Hey, it still helped me! Do you know that comedy movie that starts out with a bunch of feet walking in an office environment?
It was decent but didn't hold a candle to the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy. My family watched The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies yesterday. We all liked it.

There is one scene I really really liked which is when Gladriel faces off against Sauron, nothing to do with fancying Cate Blanchett. Not starting anything, but I'm curious if you read the book?I don't doubt that Jackson put together a good story, (I've not watched this installment) but besides the extremely bloated nature of the 3 movies, especially this battle which was one chapter if I recall correctly. I really disliked how artificial high points were added in the movies along with over the top visual sequences, like the fight after they escaped the goblins, and sequence escaping from the woodland fairies.

I figured it out. I was off with the dates, too. From what year?
I guess until the franchise stops making money. I was done with the series after the second one. But I could always stream it.My family and I went to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean this past weekend. It was okay. I guess for me the series seems kinda played out. The character of Jack Sparrow just isn't new or refreshing like he used to be after so many sequels. I did like that the story wrapped up some unfinished business from previous movies. All in all I'd give it a 5 or 6 out of 10. I guess they aren't slowing down though as there is an end credits scene that would appear to foreshadow yet another sequel is on the horizon.
What is this about?Going to start "Our Man in Havana" and likely finish it in the morning.
It was a good "relationships" movie, set on a spaceship. My primary critique is that it was deceptively marketed.I watched Passengers the other night and it was not nearly as bad as people claim.
I've never seen any of them. Happy to leave it that way.I guess until the franchise stops making money. I was done with the series after the second one. But I could always stream it.![]()

It's based off of the Graham Greene novel. Which I haven't read in donkey's years. I didn't even get a chance to begin it last night or this morning. Let's just say I was taking too much space on the DVR and I needed to watch other things lest I wanted to wait until Netflix cleared the current season. What is this about?
I never liked Jack Sparrow because I could never tell what he was, good or bad or where in between. His moral basis was extremely ambiguous.I've never seen any of them. Happy to leave it that way.
I listened to a review on Public Radio that was half positive complementing the lead actress, but the other half critiqued the CGI, the chopped up, slow motion, exaggerated hit, fight sequences. If you are an Americans fan (FX), the reviewer said it was more satisfying to watch Paige and her mother spar in their garage.Enjoyed Wonder Woman in theaters last night. Definitely worth a watch.
(I didn't like the romantic twist they gave it though)
