NO KIDDING....... nothing "Pro" about it.... no expansion ports, (except for the keyboard connector.... yawn).... when are they going to let us insert a simple memory card like everyone else does???? frustrating..... (Tim Cook needs another job!)

I'm still rocking my 2010 Macbook Pro 15" i7 and an iPad 3. No major issues with either. I would like to upgrade to the 2016 Macbook Pro though. It seems they forgot about Macs.
TC and co. claim Macs are still very important to the company which is why the Mac Pro hasn't been updated in over 2 years and the MBP lacks USB3/TB3, ports which even many Dell XPS models have. Not to mention Apple's Thunderbolt display is beyond dated. I'd love to know who buys it that they even keep it on the current product list.

Actually, no. The spaceship campus will lift off and immediately fly to Quantico, Virginia. Then over the loudspeaker you will hear Tim's voice resonating: "I find your lack of faith disturbing", just before he blasts them to bits.
I expect this to be one of the most boring Apple events and the last few years and a lot of complaining afterwards.
All I care about is recommitting to software quality.

Hear hear. The rumors about the SE made me realize how much I miss the smaller form factor.
I'd also like to see some news on the Mac side, e.g. a better desktop Mac and a more practical Macbook (with, you know, some usable ports and a keyboard with some key travel).

Yes, this is what I'm thinking right now. I see all of these negative comments, but people don't even know what is actually going to be released. Apple is the king of secrets, so for all we know they could be releasing new MacBooks! I just think people should give Apple some credit. They are not stupid, they know what there doing. They would never do a keynote if they didn't have a big product to announce. I personally think the build of the keynote will be about the encryption issue.
One trick Pony. All they have going for them is the iPhone. Their native apps suck. They don't give a crap about desktop anymore judging by the lengthy intervals between upgrades (and the nerve to keep prices high on 2 year old gear), the desktop software took a nose dive.
So another reiteration of the iPhone it is.
The design of the iMac and MacBook Pro is getting stale, will it be enough to excite people if all they do is bump the specs with Skylake processors?
Waiting for an 7.9" iPad Pro mini with A9X, 4GB RAM, Pencil support, 12MPx with Flash. On this small device Stereo speakers are ok.
This is getting confusing. How many iPad models are there now? 9.7, which one is that replacing?And how many sizes are there now? What is going on at Apple?
It's amazing how many anti Apple people come out and post as soon as a keynote is about to arrive.
I've been waiting so long for a macbook pro refresh. They usually refresh in march right? If not when? Am I going to be waiting until the fall?
After Steve is gone, let's add more product lines and extensions. Why can't we please everyone…
