Regarding the Mac Pro, I’m just afraid Apple will do what they have always done and only offer Xeon processors (pointless for most users) and limit the GPU choice to pro models.

It’s hard enough to accept that they are terminating Aperture, THE killer app that had many people switch to Mac.

The same Scott Forstall who was behind the over-promised and under-delivered release of Apple Maps and Siri? Nope, that will never happen.
You mean the same Scott Forstall who was pressured unrealistically into releasing a beta Maps by his CEO and then when it blew up in Cook's face, got thrown under the bus when he rightly refused to sign a half-assed apology because Timmy has no spine? That Scott Forstall?

So I guess there's still no number row at the top of the keyboard and still no hard press on keys to quickly get the symbols.
How about at least let people turn that feature off and on in the keyboard settings? Some of us don't want to use Gboard.
Then all of us who like to hard press a key to get # or % etc. do that and those who prefer to press "123" and then the "symbol" key and then the actual symbol can do that, you know.... the people who probably have all the time in the world on their hands.

Mouse support on an iPad would be a big advancement. It's the one the thing that has really held me off from making my iPad Pro my main computer. And that's why I suspect Apple won't really introduce it or, since mentioned as an accessibility feature, as kind of a non traditional use that won't be able to work like a traditional PC. Would hurt those tasty broken keyboard MacBook sales. But I can dream of being able to click and cursor select in Numbers and Pages without fat fingering everything a few times...

i would expect a bunch of balding 50 years olds from kansas with bad breath pedaling their wares about like any other convention held in the united states! what did i win?
Dude hopefully when you reach your 50th birthday you will have a nice mane and you will smell like fine and delicate rose!

It is long overdue for Apple to hit a home run. A real eye opening Mac Pro. A real game changing iPad OS to leave the competition in the dust. Apple has the resources to do this. They can only remain on top for so long by polishing up years old technology.

This is literally their last chance. If they don't announce or at least preview MacPro it's going to full mutiny by power users (those who remain). I still think MacPro is going the way of AirPower.

Ever since Snow Leopard (I know, I know, that was a looong time ago) all I've ever wanted from  was a much more powerful tower type computer (MacPro type). The endless Mac OS updates since then haven't improved the Mac experience one bit except to mate the Mac with the iPhone. Some would say, it's been downhill ever since. I certainly don't enjoy it as much that's for sure.

Yeah, neither do I. I'm still using my 2012 15" i7 Macbook Pro because it's built well and upgradable. In fact, I just upgraded the 500GB SSD to a 2TB SSD. But, the best Mac I ever owned was my 2008 Mac Pro tower.

macOS and iOS for iPhone are both very mature and honestly don’t need much. I welcome whatever they want to give us, but I haven’t fundamentally used my iPhone or Mac differently because of an OS update in many years.

iOS on iPad and watchOS are entirely different stories. Tons of room for improvement on both, especially iPad. I’m excited to see what they can do to get the capability of the software closer to that of the hardware.

32-Bit App Support Ending
This change is still likely going to catch some people unaware and there could be some people who are upset when the new version of macOS is released and their favorite older apps no longer run.

alas, I won't be upgrading to macOS 10.15, due to my need to continue playing Civ V!

This may look like a long list of items but its actually quite boring and underwhelming. I really hope Apple has more up its sleeve that hasn't been rumored..... But based on their recent history I am not holding my breath to be honest.....

Wow - you missed it.

Maybe it's me, but I don't really see anything all that exciting outside the possibility of a rumored MacPro.

You also missed it!
