What will you do if Apple doesn't realeaset the new Macbook Pro by the end of Feb?

buy a MAC book AIr... with this waiting thing goin on forever.. i might settel for an MBA since i have 2 vaios that are working just fine
My powerbook can last a few more months, i'm in no rush to change
same here. it's amazing how well the G4's still do. i want at least a 4 fold speed increase over my 1.5 GHz PB. That means at least 2.6 GHz Dual Core, fast GPU and most importantly a SSD. The Harddrive seems to be a bottleneck. SSD's are still too expensive but prices come down. And till I can afford a SSD notebook there will be also quad cores available i guess.
What will I do?

Yeah, they're alright. The keyboard feels like junk, and it's not very good looking, but I will admit they are leaps and bounds better over the old XPS's. But, if I had to choose a notebook PC I'd still take a Sony over them any day.
And Falcon PC or whatever, yikes. They didn't seem too bad until you take notice of that giant bird mounted on the back. Talk about visual pollution.
Yeah true. Their website is cheesy and so is that big bird on their computers. However, if you can get past all the appearances and cheesiness to what's inside these things, you have to admit, they could easily toast an MBP. It all depends what you need your computer for and how much appearances matter. If you need to do lots of 3D rendering for instance, the falcon computers as ugly as they are would probably perform much better. Of course the Macs are a lot better looking and one looks cooler using a Mac, no? I admit though I'm a sucker for Apple and will still probably get an MBP. That and the falcons are considerably more expensive (for good reason).
Okay so I went back to this falcon website to not only hear the cheesy, your now in another dimension video game, music but to once again check out the specs....but I could not get past the "custom" paint jobs on the laptops. Seriously did these guys hire the guys from Orange Country Choppers? I think I've seen some of the same paint jobs on their theme bikes. Check out the American Flag and the fighter plane and the scary clown( FUUREEAAAKY) By the way my Ti-powerbookG4 is burning a hole in my leg. Ohhhhhh the pain.....my lap would appreciate a new MBP. No breath holding here though...Hell whats a little 3rd degree burn?
As I said in the waiting list thread, I might give up on switching to Mac if this update doesn't drop soon. I've got research to do, and I can't justify the expense for a dated processor architecture. If I'm forced down that road, I'm going to be very disappointed. But I can't rationalize waiting and I can't rationalize the expense if the hardware isn't at least on par with the competition.
If Apple don't release a MBP by the end of February, I will forget about it, continue to use my 2.16GHz MBP that I've just bought as a stop gap, and buy something useful with my money
I love my MBP at the same specs from last July. After having a PBG4 since 2001, anything is a decent upgrade.
Then I think I'm buying a current model MacBook (non-Pro) and wait until my graduation (june 2009) to buy myself a MacBook Pro. But a current model MacBook Pro is also an option...
I will try to be patient but it is getting harder for every week.

Not because it is not a good enough laptop but because it is old and the price is still the same. Buying a MacBook is not temptating, don't like the keyboard and don't like the design.

What will I do? I don't know. Do I have a choice other than the two offered? I think i'll get indignant and then a little angry. Maybe i'll pout a bit. or maybe i'll accuse apple of being the devil. i'll probably utter a personal insult in the direction of steven jobs. and jonathan ives. then i'll post about it. maybe start a new thread dedicated to it. then i'll get angry some more. then i'll stamp my feet. both of them, same time. get a little mardy. cry. post about it (new thread). consider buying a dell. consider buying a mac pro (it's portable enough, right?). cling to hope that linkin park will come good. post about it. ask what apple 'really think of their loyal customers?', ask why they are doing this to me. ask god why they are doing this to me. ask god if he can strike steven jobs down. or at least nudge him. post. cry. barf. post. barf. cry.

Yeah if they release it! This poll gave us only TWO choices. Now or Montvenia. If there is a release in-between yes most certainly the majority will by that release.
