Yeah, PPT is the easiest app to leave of them all IMO. Word and Excel are a bit more difficult

That’s right! I also liked using the apps because I wanted to use the Apple themes and the SF font.
I’m so used to MS Word because I used it a lot in school 😂, but for personal documents, I use Pages.

Yes. Just download it from the Apple developer website and extract the DMG.

Yes, and even in MS Word. Correct. But tbh I find the old Apple Garamond to be way prettier.

I also used the iPhone 17 Pro promotional font to create my Swift student challenge teaser graphics.

You should definitely create a pages/keynote theme out of that. Before I used keynote a lot I used to go on the Slidesgo website where they had lots of themes that are custom. For PowerPoint.
But creative studio is better !
I got MORE GRAPHICS coming up to promote my break alarm ⏰ app for the swift student challenge contest ! I plan to add fusion 360 renders of iPhones with my app on it and create keynote or Figma graphics on it!

Y’all, how did your spring break go? For me it’s just catching up with some homework, Easter 🐣 mass and work. It happened my company doesn’t honor Easter and spring break for our interns so I had to do my monthly meeting on Good Friday.

I spent my spring break in Sicily, with my sister and a few of our friends.
I'm finishing off my undergrad with five courses this quarter. Granted, some of these are just for "fun", in that I'd been interested in them for a while but wasn't sure if I would have time to take them. Since this is my last chance, I figured I would go for it. Much of my time has been spent working on my undergrad thesis.
About a month and a half until graduation. Can't believe it's all coming to an end...

Nope, no internships. I'm not in a field that lends itself to internships. Besides, the institution I'm at does not allow students to pursue internships during the academic year—they must be in the summer (for good reason, because college should be about being a student first and foremost). Different university types and therefore different objectives. I've got summer jobs lined up, though - teaching, conducting, performing, etc.
Hey everyone using Canvas at school, have you run into any issues lately? My university has announced that there’s been a cyberattack and breach on Canvas, and the website is currently down for maintenance.
It’s been down since the afternoon in Cupertino time today, and I’ve been getting emails from school administrators and IT department bout it.
I was wondering if anyone else is having the same problems at their school? it’s also been on the news. Some classmates on my campus were hoping that their finals were gonna be canceled if the outage is longer than expected. AWS took a day or two but I hope this one doesn’t last more than a week
