What’s on my mind recently is just hoping my family and I get out of this pandemic unscathed and none of us gets sick.

Other than that, counting my blessings daily as I’m very blessed.
Totally agree! This pandemic taught me to worry only about the important stuff and don't care of petty things I was worried about a year ago.

Apart from the lesson that one should worry only about the important stuff, I think that the era of Covid may also have taught us to appreciate, savour and relish the small stuff, the stuff we used to take for granted, such as simply being able to enjoy a coffee with good friends.

Yeah, or just go to buy groceries without wearing a mask. I really miss these days😞 Hope it will go away soon and things come back to normal.

Thankfully. Imagine if you ran out!

It doesn't bear thinking about.

I had noticed that my coffee supplies were running low on Friday, - which was when I placed the order - and knew that I had enough to see me through the week-end and probably Monday, as well, which turned out to be the case.

However, had the delivery not arrived this morning, I'm not sure that sufficient coffee remained to make even one single, solitary, cup of coffee. Perhaps a half cup....at most....

I never get that close with my tea. Always keep a box or two in reserve.

I hope so. It certainly did teach this lesson to me.

The amount of work and effort that will be needed, to empty our Loft area and two bedrooms. Having hardwood installed.

Not sure how I feel about moving everything...

Ours is so empty some weeks I think shall I leave it another fortnight? Especially if its raining!

Well, in truth, ever since Mother passed away, ours have rarely been more than half full, even when collected fortnightly.

However, the rain does serve as a bit of a disincentive to bestirring myself to put them out on a wet night.

That is one thing I do appreciate about our having a dumpster here in our community; when the condo board first announced that they were switching us from curbside pickup to dumpsters, I groaned and thought it would be just awful, but really the dumpster is so convenient, as I can put my trash there any time, whether I've been doing a massive cleaning and have bunch of things to be discarded and don't want it all sitting around, or whether I haven't accumulated much trash in a week or more. The recycling area is also convenient, we can put items in the large containers there as well whenever the fancy strikes us.

Since we moved we have one wheelie bin for recycling. Its great. Before we used to have a bag for paper, another for plastic and a box for glass. Here it all goes in and they sort it. They also take cartons which we get through a lot of.

Three bins here; and all three shall trundle down the driveway tomorrow morning in order to be present and correct, neatly lined up and in place, to greet their respective lorries when they put in an appearance sometime in the afternoon.
