Ulcers are on my mind. My mouth, hands and other areas are all very red and infected. Guess the Covid jab really didn’t agree with me.
Burning, itching, sourness. Not pleasant.

Off work today. My plans of going to the tip and gardening all shelved. Have a friends online funeral at 1:30. That’s on my mind a lot.
Take it easy and relax - the funeral will not be easy but know you have some virtual support here.

iTunes on Windows for your iPad syncing, I assume. Glad it's working smoothly, but we'd really rather you use a Mac, especially on this forum!
me too, I love my MacBook air, but the Dell XPS is such a great laptop and can perform many tasks this year, compared to others.

that is a shame, the reactions to any medication can be worse than the illness, a doctor told me when i was young, just take it easy and watch some football, you should be better in no time.

Further to the rain event I posted about earlier
  1. It's still raining
  2. The cat thinks it's my fault, and that I should stop it raining
  3. One third of Australians are under a severe weather warning
  4. That includes an area over twice the size of Texas
  5. This is the second "Once in a century" storm system we've had in 30 years (we like to keep our centuries short over here...)

Hang in there! Check with your physician, doesn't sound like a COVID reaction.

This is what happens with climate change. Flooding and fires. And unfortunately, it's not going to improve.

I missed this post yesterday.

Commiserations.

I suspect that your ulcers may be a (that is, you) reaction to sustained stress - because, at the moment, you have been experiencing the tragedy and trauma of attending an online funeral for someone to whom you were close, plus the effects of the Covid vaccine - but, you've had them (ulcers) before.

My sinuses go nuts when I am under severe and sustained stresss.

This has been a rotten time for so many people.

Thanks. I was quite upset I couldn’t attend physically, but the way I feel today I’m quite glad.

Again, I feel for you.

Not that long ago, I had a lengthy chat with my German sister-in-law; her father (to whom she was very close) died just over a year ago in Germany, and, she missed both his death and was unable to attend his funeral, except online. Awful.

A hysterectomy in late summer - when travel might have been possible - followed months of sick leave & a very slow recovery (she teaches German at third level), and subsequent travel restructions, all mean that she hasn't been able to travel to Germany since her father died, although she does phoe her elderly mother every night.

What some people have experienced ad endured is absolutely heart-breaking.

Not stress. 100% due to to the Jab. Behcets is an immune disorder so it was kind of expected. The ulcers are a symptom of Behcets.

How are you feeling? I hope this goes away soon. I can't imagine this is easy to deal with.

Lots of noise from upstairs here so I'm getting less sleep than usual and I rarely get any to begin with. We're finally at the point to where my husband has a credit score that should *hopefully* guarantee we get approved for the manufactured home.

Lots of anxiety over incoming procedures but I've met my deductible, so that's a plus.

Fair enough, but I can well imagine that the upset of the funeral may have added to stress, and served to undermine your immune system.

Anyway, do take care & be kind to yourself.

The very best of luck with it.

Comes and goes. Headache mostly gone. Just pain whenever I move or eat/drink. Hoping it’s gone in the next few days as I have a busy few days at work. Good luck with the procedures. Do you have a date?

Date for procedures are not set in stone yet. They said due to COVID-19 they are a bit backlogged at the time. They are aiming for May/June for the colonoscopy but are trying to get me in sooner. The OBGYN I just found says she's sure the laparoscopy can be done by August.

Pain when eating and when moving is very difficult on the mind. I've been this way for almost 2 years myself. I will keep you in my thoughts.

It’s fine. It’s just for a while. Then I’ll be back to my usual good health. Hard to complain really with everything others are going through. Good luck with the dates. Hope it brings an end to this issue for you.

Good luck with the procedures, and hopefully, demands on the health services and on health providers re Covid notwithstanding, you wil be given a date soon.

@Septembersrain hope you get a date soon.

@Apple fanboy sending you a virtual hug and healing vibes.

Hope everyone is okay.

Things are the same here. Working to avoid stress over the usual external triggers which have escalated. It’s no wonder I‘ve fallen back in love with very rumbly, noisy death metal (Not that I ever stopped listening to it or loving it. Thank goodness a lot of the bands I growled along with are still at it and better than ever. That’s been a great delight these past few months.)

Looks like the screen of my iPhone X is coming off. It is unglued and detached from the frame (about 2mm) at the top. Dang.
I suspect the battery is bloating and causing the screen to lift off. This happened to one of my iPhones years ago and I was able to actually lift the screen away at the end. Definitely needs looked at because if it is a bloating battery that can be catastrophic in other ways.

🥺 Is it still under warranty? Or do you have to buy a new phone?

I opened a ticket with Apple. Since it looks like a swollen battery, they will probably replace it. No idea about the cost (out of warranty).
