Phantom Planet's "Raise The Dead"

Solid album, and they performed great at Honda Civic Tour when I went (also why I bought the album)

Just bought Death Cab for Cutie's "Transatlantacism" on double vinyl on eBay, should show up within the next week or so. Excited!

Nina Simone - The Very Best Of
The Doors - The Very Best Of

Just getting into these artists...

Nina Simone - The Very Best Of
The Doors - The Very Best Of

Was listening to both of those earlier on today. The 'Best of Nina Simone' doesn't include 'I Put a Spell on You' - which is her best song, at least, whatever album I have doesn't...

I bought Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly.'s new album Searching For The Hows and Whys.

I saw them live 3 times now and get better all the time heard the tracks on the album first live and love them all! As well as the first album love all the songs! and the lyrics really mean something!

How much did you pay? Seems like it often goes for $100 or more on eBay...

I bought the soundtrack album for I'm Not There on vinyl (4 discs) today. It was National Record Store Day today, so I went to a participating store and got a bunch of free samplers on both vinyl and CD. Bought Peter Moren - The Last Tycoon and the Fleet Foxes - Sun Giant EP yesterday.

I'm absolutely loving the Fleet Foxes and can't wait for their LP to come out in June.

Soundtrack of Junk(as well as the film, which was great) and "Konk" by the kooks.

Next is Death Cab for a cutie's and coldplay's new albums in May and June.

Hey mduser...nice to meet you. I am from Salt Lake as well.

Nice to meet you too archesdevil. There are a few of us from Salt Lake around here. Did you make it to a record store today for National Record Store Day? Graywhale and Slowtrain were participating, but I don't think Randy's or Positively 4th Street (the other two good indie shops around) were. I went to Graywhale and it was packed. Lot of fun.

I did make it to Graywhale on 13th. I did not know that positively sold albums.
I have been there to watch friends rehearse. I'll have to check it out.

It was kind of hard to get around today because of the marathon.

Anyway, Cheers!

Ahh, there are two Positively 4th Streets on 4th South. They're not related. The record store is pretty new and is right across from the SLC main library. The one down by Pioneer Park might be the one your thinking of. I don't even really know for sure what it is...

Neil Young Live At Massey Hall 1971

Agreed. That is just one incredible, amazing recording!

In Flames - A Sense of Purpose
Children of Bodom - Blooddrunk
R.E.M. - Accelerate

All apart from R.E.M. were somewhat of a let down for me.

I just received NIN's latest album GHOSTS I-IV from PoD. I love this album.

To exact, the last album that I bought was HOME Vol. 4. I give it a thumbs up.
