Why the hostile hypersensitivity?

Can't own all of them for 2 years each. Mathematically impossible.
Seems to me that if your phone is scratched when you turn in in, you can just direct them to the disclaimer on their site that indicates that the jet black phones are prone to scratching. And what happens when you turn it in, if you are in the AUP, and it is full of scratches? And selling, you can never list it as mint, because of the scratches.
Haha. You sweating it..Ok. But you could equally put a gloss black case on any colour iPhone

This is exactly why I don't let the color dictate which one I get. It can be rainbow sherbet farting unicorns for all I care, it's getting a case either way.Hearing that a lot of people are really wanting the jet black iPhone 7. And we've all seen the disclaimer from Apple regarding the scratchability and strongly recommending a case on the back.
Which begs the question- if you're getting a jet black because you love the look of the lovely glossy finish, but you're needing to slap a case on which means you won't see it, what's the point of it??
I don't think you understand. Some people keep their old phones. Weird but I know one that has a "collection " (1st gen -> 6s).
I don't think you understand. Pretty sure he meant all the iPhones he's owned he had for two years each, not that he has owned all the iPhones. You know, like someone who upgrades every two years and has had several but not all. At least that's what I took it to mean.I don't think you understand.
So far, there have been 9 iPhones since 2007. In order to have owned ALL of them for TWO years each, he would have to be in year 2025.

We let it slide......this time.Sorry. Sometimes I get lost in the preorder excitement. I'll do better. I'll be better.

I got some of my OCDness from my youth collecting baseball and then basketball cards. They had to be mint and centered. Always put a plastic sleeve case or hard plastic case over my most prized ones. But then I started thinking about Howard Hughes and Howie Mandel. I don't want to have their disease. More anxiety attacks. Limits your enjoyment.
I can understand wanting to sell it later in excellent condition, but all you are doing is a favor to the next owner. And for what? Maybe an extra $50 for it? Just ROCK-N-ROLL with it! We are not going to be using this phone forever. Liberate your mind from being OCD! Don't get weird like Howard Hughes and Howie Mandel. The inability to shake another person's hands would bother the crap out of me more or having an even amount of peas.
Our lives are temporary. These phones we use our temporary. Do you really think we will be using an iPhone 7 about 30 years from now? I doubt it passes 5 or even 10 years. Like that Kansas song, "Dust In The Wind", we can't take possessions with us when we are dead. We will either be rotting underground or in ashes while your iPhone 7 is rotting in some landfill someday. We have black appliances all over the house more expensive than this phone. Do we dust it off every hour?
Covering it up with a case is like a Afghan woman with a beautiful face and figure needing to be covered because of Muslim laws. You don't buy shoes just to leave it in the box. You don't buy a supercar to never drive it. I worried about this with a black onyx Note7. I told myself, "Screw it! Just do it! " I worked for Virgin and it's a Richard Branson mantra. Who cares about this OCD nonsense? Nobody cares if you have a mint condition iPhone except maybe the next owner (maybe some random stranger) who wants it.
Enjoy your jet black iPhone like there is no tomorrow. Enjoy it like it is your last day on Earth. It's all temporary anyway just like our lives. Covering it up and trying to maintain it as mint condition or worrying about smudges or scratches will only limit yourself from full enjoyment. Just have fun and enjoy...
Jet Black
+ More uniformed look
+ Hides antenna lines the best
+ Hides the camera hump the best
+ More bling factor and standout from its shine
+ People know you have a 128gb minimum and not the cheap 32gb model
Wipe it off or shrug it off, then move along...

^ Do you really want to cover up that iPhone in the far right? That's like dating Halle Berry and you want her all covered up with heavy clothing because of your insecurities. That's being OCD. Breeds high anxiety and insecurities. Pretty design just to cover it up because you're prissy? The late-Steve Jobs would approve of going no case jet black since he was a rebel with a cause. Everything is just temporary. Just rock-n-roll with your iPhones with no cases, dudes and dudettes!![]()
Just because you put a case on a phone doesn't mean the color becomes irrelevant.
That's like saying why buy a 128gb phone when it does the same thing as a 16gb?
Everyone has a preference. A color of phone is a way to differentiate your taste. If this wasn't the case, why would apple even offer different color phones and cases.
You sound like the type of guy who wears the same shirts everyday because there's no real reason to be different.
Clear cases
They exist you know
They also suck.
Scratch up very bad and or feel terrible.
What do you think about these 2:
The first is this one: https://www.amazon.com/iPhone-Spigen-Hybrid-CUSHION-Crystal/dp/B01GIWH34O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1473729445&sr=8-1&keywords=Spigen+ultra+hybrid+iPhone+7
the second one is this one: https://www.amazon.com/iPhone-Spige...01LRSGHI2/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
There are tons of clear tpu that look and feel barely there.
Putting a case on the jet black would give you more grip and cut down on the amount of fingerprints.
I currently have a clear tpu case on my rose gold 6s and people think I have my phone naked until they hold it.
Had the first one for 6 or 6S plus. Will check Amazon history later. Was the crystal clear one. Over time the clear started to yellow. Particularly the bumper part. back did scratch pretty bad as well.
It actually may have came with a protector you could put on the outside. Don't remember.
Can't speak on the second one.
As far as looks they both look great. Initially I always love them and review would be 5/5. By two months I'd have taken it off.
I don't get it either. Slapping plastic on it or anyother material defeats the purpose. Kinda funny and laughable on users.Hearing that a lot of people are really wanting the jet black iPhone 7. [doublepost=1473738758][/doublepost]The biggest drawback is feel. Plastic vs metal. Not even close. Plastic feels like junk. Metal feels gorgeous.
