Perhaps the folks who paid for 3 day shipping go through HK for a direct flight to the US.

Or perhaps the Alaska flight was for the European based Mac Pros

Don't over think it. It's just a matter to which plane has space when the computer gets picked up. FedEx doesn't care what you paid Apple for shipping. It all goes out the same way.

My fedex status just changed to "At local fed ex facility" Hong Kong, so judging from the above schedule it should be in Alaska tomorrow and the Memphis hub on Friday.

It'd be a shorter flight going West from HK to Europe than going East through Anchorage.

It's being shipped by some company called Kuehne+Nagel. Never heard of them before, but I guess that doesn't really matter.

Weird though, since I thought Apple used FedEx/UPS/TNT.

I got 2-3 day shipping. My Mac Pro shipped from Shenzhen on the 17th. It is currently in HK. It is scheduled to arrive on the 20th before 10:30AM.

That's what I got - I work out on the north end of RT 28 in Dulles where I'm having it shipped. Delivery is scheduled for the 24th, but if it gets to Anchorage by tomorrow, I don't see any reason to be surprised if it gets here on the 23rd.

All my extra stuff will get here this week, including the internal bluray drive

No, Apple have used Kuehne+Nagel for Europe for a while. They bring it from China to Europe, where it might be consolidated with your AppleCare package or whatever, and then hand it off to UPS or TNT or whoever serves Holland (in your case), for final delivery to you. Good luck tracking your package--in the past, it's been a royal pita.

Same deal here. I called Fedex. They said my package is part of a 30 piece bulk shipment and it is still on schedule for delivery Fri am (I paid the $50). I was told to expect some updates on movement tonite.

Probably - but there's no tracking available to show it landing. In theory it landed hours ago.

I'm guessing there'll be an update overnight, perhaps it's clearing customs or something.
