When is your MP shipping?

Just called my local Apple Store and they have all 3 of the base configurations (4 core, 8 core, and 12 core) in stock. Since someone just got a shipping notice for a base configuration it looks like people who did not do a BTO will get them real soon now.
 
No change for a 7am hex order the first day, but seeing the stock configs go out is a good sign I guess although I don't expect much change in the quoted 8/23 ship regardless. But one can hope so.
 
Mine didn't change either, man this has been a crazy ride since march, tryin to get my first mac pro (6core 5870) from a 4 y/o mac book pro and PowerBook g4. Enough to drive a guy insane... but at least it's a story.
 
My 3.33 6-core with ATI 5870 just changed status to Prepared for Shipment.

Mine did as well, though the shipping date hasn't changed. I would expect that to be update shortly, since it's not like they need an entire week to prepare it.

Yes, same "prepared for shipment" I wonder when they might change the eta dates? Was anyone's Credit Card permanetly charged yet for a hex? My card is still in temp auth.
 
Edit: I thought my card was charged before because that's what the teller told me, but now that I look at my account it's just a hold. Sorry.

Yes!!! Mine is prepared for shipment as well. Dates unchanged and credit card uncharged still though. I still have the temp auth too.
 
I'm surprised they go to prepared for shipment before they have a final Visa charge. Maybe it will be forthcoming later today and then the dates will update.
 
Omg mine is prepared for shipment too!!!! I can't wait to get this thing. I've missed having a desktop. I couldn't have one for the last three years because I was working overseas and a desktop wasn't practical.
 
Prepared For Shipping != Shipped

Anyone have any recently previous experience on how long it takes for them to move these once they're prepared? There's no reason not to believe that they couldn't sit around for days until its closer to the time they've annnounced (23rd). I've seen things go out a day or two earlier, but never more than a week - but I'd love to see that as well. Mine's been prepared recently too.

Nothing is going to move until your credit card status goes from temp to final on this charge.

I'm certain all 6-cores that were ordered the first couple of days at least will be delivered by the end of this week.
