There's been solid rumors/leaks prior to all Mac releases always?
I'm guessing we'll see a silent refresh around the 22nd of May just because it's also the earliest shipment date of any of the competitors (Dell, HP) from what I've read. Let's face it guys, their won't be any significant rumors prior to the launch, because no one fu**** cares about the iMac anymore except for us and maybe Apple.![]()
Just closed...The May 15th window for a release is rapidly closing...
What if the apple store goes down only to announce the new MBP or MP? I will be so gutted! I'm guessing there is still a chance for tomorrow as it is the second most popular refresh day.
I dont think tomorrow. Im going to jump on the wwdc band wagon now
WWDC: "The week we've all been waiting for."
I think there's a reason they chose that tagline.
At this point I'm more or less on the WWDC bandwagon. I'm holding out hope for a release next Tuesday but if it doesn't happen by then it's not happening until June 11th.![]()
New CEO, new rules?
iMac has never been shown at WWDC. I can't fathom that Retina is the feature that makes them show it there. New CEO, new rules?
I think it would make sense of recent rumors are correct and we're about to get retina everything. It would seem to make sense to haul out the entire Mac line and say, "Look, nearly everything we make now has a totally amazing display."
Edit: Retina also seems like a good reason to haul out the iMac at a developer's conference (which, after all, is what WWDC is meant to be, not a product showcase). HiDPI is something that developers will presumably need to code for in order to take full advantage of.
Is too late for a refresh? Cant it happen in the afternoon?
