Is that quite an old cable?Anker cable won’t fit in port opening.
Currently running this exact same setup down to the cable lol (but on 16PM)
I got these. Is that quite an old cable?
I do like the way it looks, but it’s kind of useless if It doesn’t adequately protect the phone.![]()
Apple's $60 iPhone Case Ranked Shockingly Low In This Real-World Test - BGR
Apple's $60 TechWoven case performed shockingly poor in a real-world test, indicating how you could be better off with a third-party case for protection.www.bgr.com
The Mous topped the list in the testing.

I used to feel the same way. Now I just buy Apple cables.I prefer Anker Cables > Apple personally.
Yeah, it’s a beauty, and it feels great too. If only they’d extended the screen lip inward just a bit so it doesn’t pop off the phone so easily. This has been a common issue with Apple cases over the years.I do like the way it looks, but it’s kind of useless if It doesn’t adequately protect the phone.

One particular thing I like about Anker cables is that they are usually easier to grab when taking the cable out of the device. The longer and wider termination housing is easier to grab.
. I do like apples “braided” cables a lot more than their previous OG.Their 240W USB-C cable is pretty close.I just wish Apple made a 10ft cord.. I do like apples “braided” cables a lot more than their previous OG.
I seem to recall @Hooterville having this same problem with his Sheath. If it’s what I think it is, it’s called “blooming”, where additives in the TPU migrate to the surface over time. This leads to the oxidation. Heat accelerates this.PSA: don’t store your Sheath in its package for an extended period of time. 😒

I have all my cases stored in their original packages. The dbrand grip for example has not been in use since October of last year I think and it still looks brand new. No other case here looks like this. I clean them all before I put them away. 🤔 What has happened here.
I call it the Caudabe "Haze of Death" 💀 All my Sheath cases get that nasty haze on them even after a few days of use. The finish on Caudabe cases basically suck.PSA: don’t store your Sheath in its package for an extended period of time. 😒

I’ve returned every Caudabe case I’ve had this year. Just not impressed, specifically for the price. Way over hyped imo.I call it the Caudabe "Haze of Death" 💀 All my Sheath cases get that nasty haze on them even after a few days of use. The finish on Caudabe cases basically suck.
I'm back in the Nomad rugged as of this afternoon.
Same here. So many issues of one sort or another. That said, I had a bunch of reward points that were about to expire so I recently ordered a Paragon precise just to use up the points. Not expecting to be blown away.I’ve returned every Caudabe case I’ve had this year. Just not impressed, specifically for the price. Way over hyped imo.
The Apple silicone in midnight is really nice with the deep blue phone. It’s not super protective, though. This will probably go under the radar, but does anyone have some recommendations for a good looking case that also has good drop protection for the blue 17 pro?
i bought a crapton of them but i feel like they mismatch or just look bad after a while.
Prefer:
Metal Buttons.
Decent screen lip.
Drop protection above 1.5 Meters (for work)
Not too much branding. (Prefer minimalist)
Cases in rotation so far;
Caudabe Sheath Blue (Too much blue?)
Caudabe Paragon Moonstone (White clashes with the blue)
Nomad Modern leather (Lip too shallow, screenprotector touches ground before the case)
Flolab Surtect (Feels cheap)
ESR cyber Tough (Feels cheap, too bulky)
ESR Hybrid (Slippery/cheap)
Tried:
Pitaka, slippery.
Supcase beetle, too bulky
Ostand Q3 Air, too slippery, too much branding.
Rebel case, too much branding.
Spigen, feels cheap just not my brand.
All these so called tech youtubers just look like brand shills to me.
Which makes it hard to find a really good product nowadays.
Same.I’ve returned every Caudabe case I’ve had this year. Just not impressed, specifically for the price. Way over hyped imo.
Yeah, it’s a ghost town. I think everybody is in sell-off mode to get ready for upgrading in September.Bump lol
