Check your local best buys in the morning. I went this morning looking to buy deus ex and they had a short line for hp touchpad so bought one for my sisters bday! I have iPad 2 so yea.

Amen. I sent an inquiry through Amazon, maybe theyll respond faster that way.

You didn't happen to do the free budget shipping did you? if that's the case Amazon has 5-8 days to ship it plus delivery. they shop this best price to ship it. standard shipping you pay a little more but you get it in 3-5 days. cost me $11 extra with the dvd I ordered. if you did you might be able to change the shipping option. then again i might not be worth it at this point.

I ordered from onSale through amazon, no free shipping option. I sent a "where's my stuff" email to onSale through amazon, since I can't get through onSales phone line.

I ordered one through Onsale amazon on Sunday at 5 CST, and my dad ordered one from macmall over the phone on Monday morning. Neither of us have heard anything.

This is like crack..

I have an iPad 1 and iPad 2; also have a 7" Galaxy Tab..
I purchased 3 TouchPads on Friday. One for me, my brother, and my father. Ever since I've been looking out for more, I have no idea why? Lol..

Now that I got shipping confirmation and tracking numbers, I've been on the hunt for the touchstone and a genuine case. It's like a drug, I have to find those at a deal, retail will not suffice..

It's crazy..
Don't feel bad...I also have a iPad1..iPad2..Blackberry Playbook..Asus Transfomer...Samsung Galaxy tab 7inch..and a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 google io edition..and now a Touchpad.....there needs to be a twelve step program to stop the madness.

good luck. it seems impossible to get through to them smh.

Joining those waiting for any word from OnSale. Not impressed, at this point I do think they deserve to have their rating plummet or even be dropped from Amazon.

It's not the overselling itself, I can forgive that under the circumstances (they were far from alone). I'm also not pressed for time and would be fine if it took a month to arrive. What I'm not fine with is not knowing one way or the other after 48h, especially with my funds still being held.

Hopefully some word will come tomorrow, but I suspect it's not good and had better scope out Best Buy for the next shipment. :(

Now that it's been almost 72 hours since I've ordered my touchpad from OnSale through amazon with no contact whatsoever I'm pretty sure they're in violation of the seller terms. I want my money back. Or even a refurbed iPad 1 would be ok ;)

I have an iPad 2 but couldn't resist getting a Touchpad. At $99 it was a heck of a deal. I'm hoping you'll be able to port Android to it soon.

Apparently onsale is giving priority to those who ordered with expedited shipping. I was considering it, but thought it would only save a day or two with shipping time so it wasn't worth it. At this point, I guess I missed my chance to get the one or two that I wanted at that price.

I thought the exact same thing. Who knew.

That is unacceptable in my book. Customers orders should be filled on a first come first served basis regardless of shipping option. Shipping option should only affect carrier speed.

I totally agree. What can we do about it?

Pfff, write a letter I guess. To be honest; not getting the touchpad doesn't hurt so bad, I never really wanted one until they were $99. It's the god-awful customer service that has me peeved at this point. OnSale is done on amazon.

I ordered a couple from Onsale around 4:30 or 5 CST Sunday evening, and my status still says shipping soon. I didn't choose expedited shipping, so we'll see. Honestly, I didn't even look at the other shipping options besides the one that came up automatically because I was trying to place my order so fast. I'm not really expecting to get them anymore, but it will be a nice surprise if I do.

Just wanted to update... Huge stunner B& N cancelled my order also ( like everyone else) so I am left to wait for HP to get this supposed "next shipment in like everyone else... I signed up to have them email me when they list them but I am sure by the time I get the email... people will have already snagged them.. Oh well!

Well, things get even sweeter in the TouchPad world. I just picked up a few things from the Office Store Tinity. Staples had everything in stock but full price so I matched them down to Office Depot and use an Office Max coupon.

Everyone started discounting accessories so in most areas they're sold out but Staples is still full price so I went to the store with these printouts:

HP Case - $19.99 (from $49.99)

HP Touchstone - $39.99 (from $79.99)

HP Keyboard - $29.99 (from $59.99)

Office Max $10 off $40 coupon (from Slickdeals)

I did two transactions so I can use the coupon on two transactions so my combined bill went:
$180 Staples Price
-$90 Pricematched to Office Depot
-$20 Office Max Coupon x2
$70 SubTotal for Accessories

+$85 Touchpad 16GB (HP.com 8/19 6P w/SAVE15HP Code)
$155 Total for Touchpad, Case, Touchstone, Keyboard

Best Buy actually has better deals on accessories because they have an automatic "Buy 4 Accessories and get 20% off" discount for any accessories and it works but its hard to find stuff at this point. But if you were lucky enough to score a Touchpad then check out Staples online inventory and print out those Depot ads.

I still love my iPad more, but this orphan kid is pretty awesome too. :D
