Who else hates all the landscape now?

landscape entry... am I the only one that doesn't really use it?

i remember when i bought the first gen launch weekend i thought landscape typing was a must and so much easier. but over time i just never used it. mainly because it was only on safari (then bitesms), but even then, i just got used to typing on the smaller keypad and found it easier. now i'm trying to type in landscape and i'm mis-typing everything! LOL!
am i the only one?
 
i type much faster in landscape, its just easier to hold the phone for me. But anyone else think the keys are spaced a little further apart on the portrait keyboard?
 
Portrait for life.

I think it is just because I am used to it. I also use only 1 thumb , and I'm pretty damn fast. People are always impressed. ha
 
They incorporated the landscape feature too late as I've gotten used to portrait mode. I do switch over from time to time though.
 
I type using my left thumb and my right pointer finger. I hate landscape and refuse to use it. I have to move my fingers more because the keys are farther apart, thus it is slower.

I bet I can out type any of you landscape typers.
 
i enjoy both ways but earlier my dad said y arent u txtin in landscape and i said..woah i thought i was? SO i guess i switch btween the 2 and dont even notice. :D

I type the exact same way, and I also find that the keys are far too spread out for me in landscape. I use it occasionally, but it's more for fun if anything.
 
Anybody else hate landscape/want to option to disable it?

It really sucks when you don't want to go to landscape and it does! Its the worst when your lying in bed and trying to change a song on iPod :rolleyes:

I never EVER use landscape. How about an option to disable landscape system-wide hmm?
 
i would love the option and was kinda angry they force us to use it if the phone is sideways... ill be laying in bed texting off the bed and cant anymore because of landscape :(

I love landscape.

Landscape is great for 2 hands, while portrait is great for 1. However, i do agree it would be nice to inhibit the screen rotation, a toggle for instance. It would be cool if apps like Messages, Notes, Mail, etc., had a little lock on the top bar, and when you click it, the lock would close (like in OS X), and the screen would be stuck in whatever position it was in. Then, when you released the lock, it would continue to function with the accelerometer like normal.
 
Report it as a bug to Apple so that they know people want this option. If enough of us do it then theyll listen!
 
I'm still sticking to portrait for now just because I'm so used to it, but over time I might move to landscape.
 
Not a big fan of landscape, tend to stick to portrait.

I only use landscape for browsing websites... easier to read. With texting you can't see as much of the conversation.
