For for the Hermes Apple Watch?!?

Hope you're not serious, saw it yesterday at the soho Apple Store, it was nice but not anything better then apples own bands
The leather is a lot softer. And it's handmade, not machined together.

Well, I shan't be buying one...all the bands are too big! My wrist is 130 cms and all the bands are larger!
Yes, I did find it odd that the bands don't have the same range as the Classic Band. You might ask Hermès if they would add a hole for you.

Yes, I could do that.....next time I am in London I will go and look at them. Sometimes an extra hole means that the end of the band does not fit nicely under the top layer. I do want one even though I am awash with bands for my 38mm SS. I am addicted to this damned watch and bands!

The Hermes band is really a lot nicer. A little thicker than the Apple leather band, and the stitching and buckles are better quality. The color of the leather is also more subtle. I wouldn't make a trip just to get the Hermes watch, though! But I suppose everyone's situation is different. If it's worth it to someone, I suppose that's what it is.

Finally able to get a 38mm Single Tour Brown at UES today. I'm happy the hunt is over, my wife is even more happy to have the watch.

Nice! Did you just go to the store, or did you previously try it on and get put on the call list?

I got a chance to try out the full range of Hermes watches in the SOHO store yesterday:

I was really struck by the size of the watches, of the three only the single tour actually fit my wrist. I don't consider myself to have especially large wrists (~176mm) but neither the Cuff nor the double tour would buckle around it. While the double tour seems intended to be a smaller, more feminine product I was very surprised about the Cuff.

The leather was obviously superior, far better then the classic buckle. If I were in the market for an Apple Watch again I think the single tour is a bargain at the price. However, as a current Apple Watch Space Black w/ Stainless steel bracelet owner I can't see myself spending another $1100 for it. I would happily buy the Hermes leather band in black for the difference between the Classic buckle Apple Watch price and the Hermes edition price though (aprox $500-600). Not likely that Apple would compromise the exclusivity of the collection like that though.

Apple was selling a shocking number of them though. In the time I was there more Hermes edition watches were sold then standard watches.

Oddly, another poster was complaining that the Single Tour was too big for her wrist. It doesn't get as small as the Classic Band. It only goes down to 140mm vs. 125mm for the Classic.

That said, I'm not surprised at all that the SOHO store was selling them at a decent clip. It is really a great price for what is being marketed as an "exclusive" product.

I've had my Sport since launch so my wife didn't really need to try on the Hermès watch to make the decision. I went to 4 stores (3 Apple, 1 Hermès) last Friday and was told it was out of stock everywhere. Tried calling all 4 stores everyday this week until I was told the one I wanted was in-stock. The Apple staff was sympathetic to me being a five hour drive away and promised to hold the watch until closing time. The Hermès store was less than useful and wouldn't even put me on the wait/callback list.

Are you in San Fran? I can't seem to find any!

For those who bought the Apple Watch Hermes, do you find yourself keeping it on the Hermes watch face or do you use the stock watch faces (either exclusively or on occasion)? Which font do you use?

I keep mine on the Hermes watch face and use the third font. I'm not sure of the names, but I believe the second one is the classic Cape Cod. The one I use is the funkier san serif font.

I like the cuff style band and the double really looks nice on women, but I doubt I'd get one.

I've never switched off the Hermes face, and I'm using the Cape Cod font.
