I actually live/work in Germany as well; calling and speaking to reps at various stores in Paris that will be carrying them (wife and I will be there for a bit next month, and she wants one). There's a waiting list at a couple of shops/boutiques - not sure if that was arbitrary or out of necessity.
My German isn't so strong... if that's about having a nice weekend, you too!Schönes Wochenende!![]()

Did they give any indication of how many they will have? I wonder how popular this will be, and whether the Apple Stores will have more inventory. In NYC the UES and SoHo Apple Stores open an hour before Hermes.Just called the Hermes in Los Angeles and they will not be taking reservations. Watches will be sold first-come, first-serve Oct. 5.

It is and thank you. I have a friend of a friend working at a Hermès (or is that an Hermès?) store but he has holiday right now and I am not sure if he completely knew what he was talking about. He said from about 250€ for the strap and 75€ extra for fitting. But that sounds like any watch strap.
1. No, at least not initially
2. No
3. I believe the participating shops will have them the first week of October
4. Depends on the location, and how many they made for this run. There seems to be (understandably) a great deal of interest at the Paris locations.
How about the watch faces? Now that would be news!Talked to an Apple rep a week ago who said the bands would be available separately
I am a guy and i am buying the double wrap band. So if anyone has any worries about it, don't care about their opinion
Yeah, but they won't sell it with a 42mm Watch
Guys are allowed to wear the 38mm.
I saw a "regular" double-tour Hermes watch the other day. The strap is very thin and definitely feminine looking. I haven't seen a single-tour (nor have I seen the Apple Watch Hermes in person, either). I wonder how the strap itself will look on the 38mm vs. the 42mm. It's hard to tell from website images.
Guys are allowed to wear the 38mm.
Some would argue that these are all ladies models.
All the Hermes AW models are ladies models? Really? So Hermes does not make any mens watches even for their in-house models?
$1100 for the single, $1250 for the double, and $1500 for the cuff.Have we seen prices?
