Carrier Who else will be braving their local carrier store?

I hope nobody has an issue with it. I've waited in line for lots of stuff, lots of black friday, etc. The thing I saw people have issues with is when someone tried to cut in line, or just set up their stuff in line then go back to their car and leave their stuff to hold a spot for them. I've never had an issue with someone taking my place for 15-20 minutes. But, you never know! Also, good idea on the carry. I don't have a handgun or license, but if I did I would for sure bring it, thought I'm not too worried because the area this store is in is pretty nice.

I wish you luck man, hope at least one of us leaves the store happy!

I wish i had someone to relieve me. That alone would probably make me consider camping all night. But in the mean time, all this talking and thinking has me thinking I should be there at 4.

Appreciate it man!! Yeah I am not too sure of the part of town the store I am going to is "sketchy" or not, but you never know these days man. Tell you what, if I am in line, I will try to post some pics and maybe others on this thread will do the same so we can try to suffer not in silence lol

I'm pretty sure I'm convinced to get there even earlier, so I'll attempt to post photos as well.
 
So I called 3 local stores. 1. Authorized retailer - will get 2 Plus models 128 & 256, few 7's but doesn't know color on any of them. 2. Corporate - haven't received any Plus's, will have 7's of all colors except JB. 3. Corporate - haven't received any Plus's but said waiting on another delivery. She's said I can call back before closing to check again. They will also have 7's of all colors except JB.

Yea, the earlier the better your chances in my opinion. I think Trogdor796 will have us all beat though lol. What's funny is tomorrow on these forums after the doors start opening you will see a post from someone saying they went on their lunch break and was able to get the phone they wanted smh.

Oh it's definitely going to happen, never fails. Im debating if i want to actually call the store and see what they have to say or not..

Both At&T stores near me said that they would have 7+ and if i was in line by 5am i should get what i want. I also walked in a Target store and they have 7's that had not been reserved and I was able to reserve a 7 256gb for my husband for pick up tomorrow.
 
My AT&T's stores told me they had no idea whether or not they'd have and 7+. They suggested I'd be better off waiting at Best Buy.
 
I think I will roll into my local TMO store tomorrow at 9 when they open and see what they have...I am only looking for a 7 anyway. If not no biggie.

Visited 2 coporate T-mobile stores in town.

1) 7's are in stock for walk in customers and ready to go with multiple sizes/colors. - NO 7+'s at launch day.
2) Nothing in stock for walk in customers - Only orders are available for those interested.

I've called 4 AT&T stores near me and only one has not given me a no...but not a yes either. They didn't get their shipment so he honestly couldn't tell me if they would have plus models or not. Told me to call back before they close to see if they got any. The other stores that haven't gotten their shipments yet flat out said they wouldn't have any so I wonder why this store doesn't have the info?

Anyone hearing anything about Best Buy/Target/Walmart for Plus models? I'd be shocked if they have any.

Currently making calls and trying to decide where my best bet is to camp. I'm gonna try and get there around 8pm for a matte Plus. No patience for my jet black 7 in october. I have a sick feeling I'm going to be there for 12 hours only to be told I'm SOL. Half AT&T stores told me no, half told me they didn't know. :rolleyes:

Hmm seems odd that he is an employee their and has no idea until after closing or first thing tomorrow. They must have the phones and lock, key, deadbolt etc.

You still have your Note 7? I turned mine in to AT&T and they gave me a Galaxy S7 loaner that runs so hot I had to stop putting it in my pocket. It burned my leg a few days ago, but that was my fault for somehow turning the LED flashlight on before I pocketed it. I think I was safer with my Note 7. I want it back but I don't know when that will happen with the CPSC involved. My husband is in the same boat, but at least his S7 Edge isn't burning him. It's a good phone.

I'm just want an ordinary IPhone 7 256 GB. I thought I wanted matte black but now I don't know. I'm waiting to see what people think of the finish.
