Who is on a Vaja countdown? updates on deliveries etc

Ordered July 17th....

Ordered July 17th for a ivolution Top SP (Wood Smoke/Brownie)...waiting patiently...did email about personalization, was told presently not happening on iPhone 4 cases :(

Just got notification from Vaja after almost 60 days (June 1st order) for my iPad and euro HTC HD2 cases...hope the iPhone case takes 'only 45' days :rolleyes:
 
I have lost some respect for my favorite case co. Vaja!

Having emailed Vaja myself and seeing all of the others here emailing about personalization and clips it seems as if Vaja is rushing to get cases out but unfortunately they are not making their customer base, especially their repeat or existing customers very happy. :(

I am gonna hold off. I can't even get a iP4 yet. Waiting for Best Buy to get back into stock on them as I have enough gift cards to get a 16gb for free or a 32gb for the price of a 16. So with all the drama with the phone and cases I am kinda glad the planets have not been in alignment for me! But I really itching to get an iP4!

What color scheme did you have? I had the nautical blue with white stripe for my 3G and white stripe absorbed the blue dye. For that, I agree that the color didn't hold and I would advise against the stripe. If you're referring to the patina, that is expected since soft leather will wear. Any leather product will show wear with use no matter what the quality is.

What is the point of you saying me saying vaja cases are overpriced is subjective? Isn't that already obvious?

Value is a subjective opinion and I always find it interesting how people say so and so item is overpriced. To me, people who do so are trying to place a negative impression on the item. Why not just state the facts and leave it at that?

Ok value is of "subjective opinion." What is your point? Next do you want to tell us that the sky is blue?

I owned a vaja case and I think they're overpriced based on its durability and its subpar ability to protect a phone when compared to other cases. I think vaja is the only case I've owned that looked like it came from Afghanistan with only 2 weeks of use. Now that's negative impression, and there is NOTHING wrong with expressing it.


Now if you think think I should simply not state my impression of the case simply because it is negative, you are surely missing the point of a discussion forum. With your reasoning, people should not post vaja cases look cool/nice because beauty is subjective and only facts should be said....:rolleyes:
 
It has been over a month now since my order - I had been patently waiting but now have crossed over into impatiently waiting :D

Still well within their 45 days but I am now starting to get tetchy :mad:
 
I hear ya man. I am about 3 weeks into my order. I emailed customer service mid-last week for a status. They estimate it to be ready around mid-September, which is around the 45 day mark. Add shipping time in there. Long wait. Hopefully worth it. I almost forget about the darn case, but these threads re-kindle my fire :)
 
Got Fed Ex Tracking #

Got my Fed Ex Tracking # for my July 17th order (about 5 days earlier) for a ivolution Top SP (Wood Smoke/Brownie). Should arrive by the 30th, however wont be able to pick it up till about the 4th of September....will be picking up my Vaja iPad Agenda at the same time...that took about 85 days....
 
I e-mailed Vaja's customer service telling them how unhappy I am with the fact that I haven't received a tracking # or an idea when mine will ship when others who ordered after me have already received theirs. So far, no response from Vaja.

I figure I have about 2 weeks left too, so I'm not worried yet, cuz once I start looking into it and thinking about it, then I'll be waiting for it every day.
 
Just placed my order ...

Got my order confirmation on 8/20/10 for the Slim bag in "Rabbit" grey (body) and indigo blue (stripe). Anxiously waiting :( Probably going to receive it in the middle/end of October ... :rolleyes:
 
I finally got my FedEx tracking information and it is supposed to ship today and arrive on 9/8. Considering that I ordered it on 7/4, that means it took 60 days for them to make it. I'm a bit annoyed that it took that long to the point that I'm not sure if I want to keep it.
 
Latest status on my Grip order is mid-September, which is still around the 45 day time frame. I am annoyed as well. It's been so long, that I am not sure if I want to keep it.
 
I got the usual message from them

It is now 43 days since I ordered. I emailed them 2days ago and was told "it was in the final stage of production and I would be provided a tracking number when it ships" Of course, having ordered from this in the past, I previously received the same pro forma BS response. Nice cases but the wait almost makes it not worth it.

I emailed them inquiring about my case as well. I got an even more BS reply then you. They only said, "The order has a production time of 45 days approximately counting from purchase date. You will receive the tracking number after shipping." Even when I did ask for an update on the case. :mad: I am tempted to cancel my order now. The only thing stopping me is how nice the case is .. :eek:
 
Ordered my two cases, (one for me, one for the wife), on July 19th, emailed tuesday and again today and was told that it had been sent yesterday. Tracking says it's been cleared in Buenos Aires and waiting for the next stage. Hopeful for this weekend or Monday! :)
 
Well this pisses me off. I just check Vaja's website and the iVolution Top is listed as in stock and ready for immediate shipping.

if you don't want it ill take it at cost :). Im serious by the way. Well depends on the color as well.

My case arrived today. I was disappointed in the box since the previous one was better made not to mention mine was squished. You would think that Vaja would have shipped it inside a sturdier box instead of a FedEx envelope.

I do love the smell of the leather and the case looks a little plain by itself, but once I slipped the iPhone 4 in...it became elegant. The floats leather is quite different from the smooth leather from my previous case, but I like it. The rosso red lining is a little duller in color than what I would prefer. I probably should have gone with the vibrant green lining.

The case has a good feel to it in my hand and I don't mind that the flap hangs down. I really do like the case, I just don't like Vaja's delay.
