.com for me.A lot of the reps said that last year (or the year before, not sure which) but the phones arrived on release day.
Who knows if that will be the case this time.

The times I've pre-ordered iPhones/iPads, they arrived at my door the day they we're scheduled to ship.
I would bet the rep was basing that last year on release of the 5S. There was no preorder. So most peopled who ordered early, received their phones 2 to 3 days later than those who stood in line that same day.
Quite confused.
I would like to buy two full price phones (6 and 6+) tonight and not activate them. I would prefer to pick them up at a vzw or apple store in Honolulu Sept 22, but if necessary I can change my shipping address ship them to my mother in law there.
I'd like to add them to my existing Verizon account in December when we move to Hawaii for $25/mo as opposed to the $40/mo subsidized line price.
Is this possible? So much conflicting information...

I've purchased from verizon in the past, I usually try to refresh apple.com and verizonwireless.com to see which allows pre-orders first and then I go with that option. However, I buy full price and I've found in the past it was easier to go through Verizonwireless.com
I'm ordering from Verizon but I have to do it over the phone since I got them to bump my upgrade date by a month. The one downside is the person who is going to help me doesn't get in until 3AM PDT and no one else is in his department until then. I just hope they have one phone left for me. 6 Plus 64GB color doesn't matter. 
Also that deal doesn't start until October 1st. Got my hopes up

Not sure. I sure hope so, don't want to wait for UPS/FedEx to lose my package.
I will be ordering from them. I had 2 upgrades available and a third coming due in a few weeks so the wife was going to wait and use the 3rd one when it became available. I checked today and they moved her upgrade date up (actually moved it to 9/4) so I guess I'll be ordering 3 phones tonight. I was going to do an in store pick up from Apple but the extra gig of data per line is just too good to pass up as I always get kind of close to my 6 gigs of data.

I really wanted to order directly from apple, but VZW is giving you an additional 1 gb of data when you order from them.
I'll be ordering from verizon. I couldn't fall asleep so looks like I'll be browsing with you guys for the next hour.
Reason I'm doing it through verizon is because I want to apply my employee discount, get the free gb of data per line, and hopefully avoid the traffic that apple.com gets.
