I've got two. I don't think I've ever broken the 2gb (probably not even the 1gb) barrier with my 4s. Now that I'll have MUCH faster cell service with the 6, this might come in really handy (the wife and kids can hotspot my phone to their tablets during long car rides).

Not sure.. I've only seen the banner on the VZW website. I think I did see in another verizon thread, that yes, you will then have 11gb for two years. I'll try and find the post.
i'm on what's called a 2gb data loyalty plan, offering 2gb data ($10/gb overage), unlimited talk/text for $60. whenever i try to order a phone off contract from apple, the site wants me to select a different data plan and text messaging option, so i'll have to order through verizon. the restocking fee is worrisome, though, as i'm ordering the 6+ and am unsure whether it's too big for me. oh well.

Hey, do you know what kind of benefit do you get from the employee discount (I'm assuming you don't mean Verizon employe)? I know I get the 19% off data plan, but what else do you get? Thanks.

Ah, fair enough, wishful thinking I guess. The 10GB seems to be sufficient for us, but if Verizon was willing to give a free 1GB I wouldn't complain. Thanks for the reply!

The $200 promotion is max value on your qualified device. You get whatever your phone appraises for. Example, a iPhone4 8 gig is only worth $32, so the card would be for that much.

Oh yes. $35 activation fee is waived so that's another perk.

no, there is a specific iphone trade in promotion just for the iphone 6. the promotion will give you a $200 gift card for any iphone 4, 4s, 5, or 5c in working condition.

I can't find the post. But the fine print simply states if you buy any smartphone, nothing about contract. It also states that you get 1gb per line per upgraded phone.

The only reason to order from Verizon is for special circumstances. If your line is eligible for upgrade and you know your billing password, Apple is always more straightforward and simple.
I have an upgrade available on another line that I'll be using. In past years they allowed you to swap the upgrade between lines and save it. This year you can only swap the upgrade while you are making the purchase through their website, effectively forcing you to buy through them.
Should be a blast.

An extra gb at no charge per line (per month) is special enough for me
I see the additional 1gb option when looking at phones with the Edge option as well so it's not just for 2 year contracts.
It's that damn sasquatch that's why...
I think Apple has always historically favored AT&T, maybe there giving them a throwback favor?

Are you a verizon telecom employee? If so, I have never had my activation fee's waived.
