Must be an OLED thing, because my old XR was almost identical to my iPad Pro's screen.
Same here. XR and iPad Pro had nearly identical color temp. Glad I have 14 days to decide. My only reason for keeping it would be the camera which are indeed very good. Maybe I’ll just get the 11 instead . My guess is that apple will bring micro LED to iPad in the spring and then to the phones in 2021 as well or 2022 so they can do promotion.

I never thought I’d not really like an iPhone but damn the screen is the main part of the device.

im very conflicted right now i kind of miss the bigger screen of my 11 pro max but also at the same time i like the one handed use of my 12p, also the decrease in weight too. my time is also running out to as verizon sometimes takes forever to put the upgrade back on the account.

Can you tell me more about Verizon putting the upgrade back on the account? I returned my 12 Pro to get the Max instead (purchased through IUP) and Verizon won’t go through when I do a test order on the Apple Store. And when I try to do a test order on Verizon, it tells me that my line has a pending order and is not eligible for an upgrade. Did I screw up my account? I want to be able to preorder the Max next Friday.

I maybe returning mine because I do not remember my 11 doing this when you take photo, the little blue dot or white do it does move around,
when I take a photo in low light or normal and it occurs with the sun in the frame,in another post I started someone called it a lens flare is this normal and has anybody with the 12 pro seen this

Return it. Buy a Samsung. Take the Same type of pictures. Come back. Post them. Then let’s compare

Pixel 3 still takes better photos; however the pro max reviews might take it to the #1 spot i hope.

Really surprised you’ve never noticed this before. It’s the sun reflecting off the lens. All cameras suffer from it, my X does it and my DSLR.

I sadly boxed up and returned my 12 today. It was just too big for me. I’ll order the 12 mini, but it was a tough decision to return an otherwise perfect 12. I really tried to make the size work for me (coming from a 7, so 6.1” was a really big jump).

Coming back to this thread to report that I went back and forth all week about returning my 12 pro... mostly due to the size/weight. My hat is off to those of you waiting for the max. I feel like I am having to relearn how to hold a phone in order to avoid wrist pain and carpal tunnel. Lol

I boxed it up and took it back out maybe 4 or 5 times. (Yes, I’m nuts). Honestly I would love to wait for the mini but I know I won’t be satisfied with the lesser battery life. I decided to keep the pro because it’s the device the best suits my needs and I will have to adjust to the heft of it. I truly hope next year they figure out how to add more battery to all of these devices and give us some sort of “mini pro”. For now, I’ll enjoy the Pro and maybe get a pop socket or loopy case.

I’ll throw in a vote for the Loopy case. It truly makes the phones, even slightly larger ones, much easier to use with one hand. I prefer it to a pop socket because having your finger in the loop really keeps it in place, and you only have to put one finger through it, allowing you to spread your hand out more over the surface of the back of the phone. It helps you to balance the device better and allow you to reach things you wouldn’t be able to otherwise.

I have used the Loopy for years, and since I had to preorder one to fit the 12, and it won’t arrive for a couple more weeks, I bought a $10 case, punched holes in it, and put a spare loop through it to tide me over. I am definitely a fan of the Loopy.

you could try calling them and see if they can fix it that sometimes works to free up the upgrade faster

Thank you! I am definitely going to check it out. I have always heard good things about them.

I went from a space gray xs max to a blue iPhone 12. I was feeling pretty ready to have a smaller phone but after a couple days, I’m wondering if I should’ve stood pat.

Not really seeing the point of updating at all other than the size. And as a person who only usually goes with black/space gray phones, I’m struggling a bit.

I love dark blues and liked this blue out of the box but I think the glossiness is killing it for me in daily use. Out in the wild with a clear case, it’s not looking as dark to me. I also like matte finishes and thought perhaps the graphite pro would be a better fit. Or maybe just the black 12 would work.

But maybe I could buy a thinner case for xs max and stick it out another year. I could save some money by getting an iPad Air instead ha

I’ll give it a few more days.

I wonder how many iphones are gonna be returned. What percent do you guys think ? 1% ? 5% ?

friend of mine that works at an apple store claimed he had 5 returns in a single day for various reasons. some were returned because the customer didnt like the new squared off edges and preferred the old design better others just wanted the pro max instead or the Mini
