You may want to check the website and see if other nearby stores might have one for 11/3 pickup (see our posts right above yours).

My original date was 11/3. I'm never one to get too upset over a tech purchase being delayed. Hopefully, my wife will be pleasantly surprised later today assuming it arrives!

It looked like they had a Verizon model in stock for pickup tomorrow at my local store, and my Apple Store order won’t be ready until December. I’m over it now though. I have a full price order for pickup at B.B. in a week, but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get them to price match or not since they refused to do it over the phone.

Worst case scenario I wait a month. First world problems. I’ll survive.

Yep same here. Mine showed up right away. Could be an automatic pre-authorization, and not an actual charge. Guess we’ll find out in the morning!

EDIT: Actually it probably is the pre-auth. I order a lot of stuff from Best Buy and they don’t charge until pickup.
 
Best Buy just sent me an email at 11:59 p.m. (CST) stating the following in regards to my iPhone X 256GB Space Gray order at 2:06 a.m. on 10/27:

"We're sorry – your ordered item(s) are taking longer to fulfill than we anticipated.

Please be assured we'll continue to work on this order, and once the item(s) become available we will let you know. If we are not able to complete your order by December 02, 2017, we will notify you and cancel the item(s). "

They did this same exact thing the night before the ATV4K was due to arrive at my home and I still received it the day of. Dealing with customer service was a nightmare as they had little to no information to offer. Hopefully this will provide hope to some who receive the same message.

Best Buy are jokers. I got this email from them.

“We're sorry for this inconvenience, William

The carrier has indicated that your recently shipped items may not arrive until 11/06/2017.

For more information and additional options, please see the What You Need to Know section below.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Thank you for being a loyal Best Buy® customer.

Umm. Yeah that’s what happens when you send something UPS Ground from across the country! And then they’re blaming UPS for it! Oh the irony.
 
After reading post I went to B.B. and found a store with some available today and ordered it. Sitting outside of Apple Store right now, number 48 in line and trying to decide if I go home and sleep. It’s a one and half hour drive one way.
 
Guess I’ll be heading out to the Apple store in a few minutes. Just got my delay text message from B.B., new get by date is 12/2! are you kidding me? Never again. Ordered silver 256 g at 0309.

So my iPhone that shipped last night with UPS Next Day Air Saver that was originally showing as delivering on 11/3 on UPS's site is now saying it won't get to my house until Monday, 11/6. I hope Best Buy didn't pay too much for that next day shipping.

The iPhone I ordered at 3:17am eastern for an 11/2 delivery has just been delayed.

FYI - for the 11/10 people, check the product page and see if your nearby stores got any in. I was able to go to the “change” order section and select a different store (only 10-15 mins further away) and it said available for pickup today. Other stores said 12/15.

I didn’t change it though - I created a new order just to be safe (in case my old one at the closer store magically updates in the morning). So my new order I just placed a few minutes ago for the different store already says “Preparing” whereas my old order still says “Order received”.

Also I’m purchasing outright, so I did not enter any carrier information. If you entered carrier info, you’ll probably want to switch stores on your current order, to avoid your account having a lock and the order not going through.

If neither of these go through for tomorrow morning pickup, my other option is going to Verizon at 8 am, as they said they got some in but couldn’t disclose how many until 7 in the morning if there’s a line. I told him to put a list up so people would know whether it’s worth waiting, but I don’t think he listened, haha.

Omg this worked for me!! I was quoted 11/10 at a store 3.8 miles from me so I hopped in and began a second order and low and behold a store 3.9 miles from me had it for pick up today!! I obviously went with that and have already received your order is ready for pick up email
 
Same for me. My order was originally scheduled for in store pickup on Nov 10 but status changed overnight to ready for pickup today (order status webpage); but I haven't received the ready-for-pickup email yet.

Oh yeah, no email for me either....I set up an appt time slot to pick it up....
 
Anyone who changed their order pick it up? Thinking I might do it now because Im still at Order received even tho it says the best buys mobile in the mall right down the road has it in stock for pickup today. Might just try and click the change order.
 
Good luck picking up your pre-ordered phones from Best Buy earlier from 8a-10a. After waiting for 45 minutes they now tell us they can’t open until regular time, 10am
 
I think your good. If it went to preparing and you were charged, you'll get it tomm. I bet you get the shipment email in the morning , happened to me that way before
Nope. Got the dreaded Delayed email from Best Buy around midnight CST. Going to try my luck at walking in instead.
