Not regretting mine at all. In fact, I foud it to be smaller and more manageable than expected. after using it for a couple days I find I can use it one handed just about as easily as my 5 too. All the hysteria? Completely unwarranted.

Not me. I do hope the devs optimize their apps soon - then it will be perfect.
I have no problem browsing with one hand. Typing takes two but I'm okay with that given how much easier is to read on it.

Dude, give her the gold one. Happy wife, happy life.

Just sayin'...

I would but I fell in love with the gold in an olive brown case. She keeps telling me that she doesn't need or want the 6+ so idk...We'll see what happens this week. I'm trying to convince her to try it out.

I am sold on the 6 plus, as I don't mind using the phone with 2 hands, if needed.

I am concerned about how it will be to carry this thing in my hip in a holster. For those that have the 6 Plus, how is it carrying it our hip?

Thanks...

My husband bought a Seidio slider case plus holster for his 6+ at Best Buy Friday night and it's not bad despite my general dislike for all holster cases.:p It's a plain (no brand badge), unobtrusive. protective hard slider case that actually looks nice and slim and the black holster is understated as well. It sells in Best Buy as "PT" or "RT", (can't remember which it but doesn't say Seidio on it) and comes in several metallic colors (gold, silver, blue) plus black. I cringe in general re: holster cases but he needs one for his busy on-the-go lifestyle/work schedule and this case/holster combo is much more low profile than an Otterbox Defender or the like. It actually doesn't look that big at all clipped on his belt which surprises me. In a good way... These 6 series phones are slim and fragile and definitely need a protective case but I think it is going to be tough to find cases that look good and don't turn either phone into a complete brick but still offer protection for the screen and aluminum body. I think my days of Kate Spade and Lilly Pulitzer cute print cases are over with iPhone 6 Plus.

"A device that requires two hands is a device that demands your full attention. It’s not a device you can whip out of your pocket and glance at quickly in between other tasks. It’s not a device you can use to quickly scan your email while carrying a grocery bag or hanging onto a subway pole."

Good points.

I got to interact with one in an Apple store yesterday. The iPhone 6+ didn't feel as large in my hand as I had thought, and it seems that I might be able to use it fairly comfortably. However, my concern is that it is definitely too large for my pants pockets.

I have not seen either one in person, but I'm worried that the plain old 6 is going to be too big -- let alone the 6 Plus…

I love my 6 Plus. I am 6'3/6'4ish with fairly large hands (can easily palm a basketball). I can do pretty much anything with one hand on the 6 Plus. I've gotten really used to the backwards side swipe gesture to go backwards. It sucks when third party apps don't have this. But again, I can still manage with one hand.

I absolutely love my phone. I've had several cell phones, including a lot of smartphones, and I can honestly say that the 6+ is by far my favorite smartphone that I've ever had. I've played HD video on my phone for some customers at my job and a lot of them are like "damn that looks awesome" The 6+ is great phone. It's definitely not for everybody, tho. It's just a beautiful device. Also had a funny convo with the samsung rep at my job lol.

Her: The iPhone 6 is nothing new. All Apple did was try and copy samsung and make a bigger phone.

Me: You, a samsung rep of all people, want to talk about copying?

My instigating coworker: Somebody call the fire department b/c you just got burned

lol it was all in good fun, we always joke about the apple/samsung battle

I had an IP6+ on order, but cancelled it today and just bought a regular IP6 at the apple store. I personally think Apple messed up on the design of it. They should've trimmed the bezel down significantly to make up for the larger screen, instead of exactly copying the design of IP6. I hate Android, but the LG G3 is a perfect example of how to make a 5.5 inch phone bearable. Minimal bezel is a must. I'm sure they could make the fingerprint sensor a bit smaller to make this work.

I'm curious why you are "sure" the size of the fingerprint sensor could be reduced. You may be right; I just wonder why you are sure, especially how Touch ID seems so far ahead of the industry in terms of ease and accuracy.

As to the bezel, I thought the same thing before I saw the 6+ in person. Now that I have, my impression is that it's great for holding the device in landscape mode, and therefore contributes positively to the overall design. I assume the bezels will get smaller in future iterations, but that may be a "be careful what you wish for" situation.

Not really. To imply you can't glance or scan email on a 6+ with one hand is an exaggeration. If you keep you Message and Email apps at the bottom you can use your thumb to scroll. And the Reachability feature is supposed to help get to the top of the screen one handed if you need to. I find that reviewers comment exaggerated and unhelpful.

Have a plus in my hand..unopened. I currently use a G3 and it feels comfortable. Not sure what I wanna do. I have 14 days to decide.

Just open it and have a play. Like you said, you have 14 days to return it. As its arrived, pointless to just have it sitting there unopened.

I notice that I pick up the 6+ like an iPad, holding it like a plate. It's easier to hold like that, than wrap your hand around it the way we did with the older models.

Plate/Dish grip vs candybar/remote grip. I guess that's best way to describe the difference.

The quote is from an article written by a guy who has the Plus and finds it too big for him to use with one hand comfortably, and that the reachability feature was a drag to use all the time. He will be exchanging the Plus for a 6. Maybe the plus will be fine for you one handed, but it wasn't for him.

Besides, the quote itself doesn't apply to any phone in particular. It applies to one handed use versus two handed use in general, and I think it makes good points.
