My thought process has always been, do you walk around with a helmet on 24/7?

Helmets are not the only form of protection

Seatbelts? For accident protection
Sunglasses? for glare
Shoes? For foot protection
sun block? For skin protection
Gloves? For hand protection
Vaccines? For virus protection
Clothes? For all sorts of protection
Condoms? For life protection

Yeah we pretty much protect ourselves 24/7

All this said, my phone will be unprotected

I would at last put the iphone 5 infront of my private parts... lol.

I have rarely seen anyone not using a case. And girls now a days have these crazy cases with rabbit ears etc. Always wonder what it would be like if a bloke has one of those case in his pocket. Would the rabbit ears stick out?

NEVER understood people that buy bulky cases for such an amazing looking phone. They destroy the look immediately. Makes no sense and don't try to tell me otherwise you otterbox lovin, waterproof defender idiots.

ahhahah, thats what i did with my last iPhone-totally ruined the look. So let me get this straight: applecare + adds an extra year of warranty + two $49.99 replacement...( that includes accidental damage)
Is it worth it?

I would have liked to have the choice of a bumper case. The bumper has helped me keep the glass completely scratch free on the Iphone 4 and 4S, and it also saved me once from a chest high fall onto the street. The bumper also helps me get some friction and "sticking" power when laying the phone down on "slippery" surfaces, or even while grabbing the phone.

Can I live without a case for a while? Sure, I can. Was the bumper case worth it? Yes, it was.

Big no no for me! I've been known to accidentally drop my iPhones and have the screens break. I'm more than likely going with a Lifeprood again. If not, an HD screen protector and a nice case; I've always wanted the Harry Potter cases from Warner Brothers! Lol

I see your point

Lifeproof makes great cases, but their bulky. If you guys had to sacrifice size and weight would you
A: go for protection (lifeproof, otter box..)
or
B: Battery (Mophie..)

?????

Yup! Almost never seen someone without a case.

No way
Want mine spotless for resale and to satisfy My OCD
Im getting either a slim case or bodyguardz for the back
Tossing in a bookbook for good measure

ditto on the OCD, and i feel you on the resale thing, but doesnt bookbook make it hard to take pictures? i also like how you can use it as a wallet

Bought a Element case for my 4 but went without case for my 4s. I wish Apple made a bumper for the 5 but I guess ill be naked cause that black is so sexy.

I will be, but I also bought a couple cases because I like to put a case on my phone if I am going to do something that has a higher risk of me dropping it

Putting on a case is like putting a plastic cover on your couch. It's just unnecessary for most and cheesy.

I will for a bit of time until Mophie comes out with a battery case for it.

I'm in the same boat... The only case I use for my iPhone 4 is my Mophie juice pack air. If I didn't need the extra battery on a daily basis, I would definitely be using my iPhone naked.

I'd like to go caseless with my iPhone, but I'm going to wait until some cheap full body films come out. The 4/4S hides scratches well with the glass backing, but from past experiences, aluminum is quite unforgiving!

yes, bookbook isn't ideal for taking fast pictures
i'm praying the newest version gets an update to fix that :>

Since the 4, I have gone caseless. I do put a clear film on the back since it takes the brunt of the day to day pounding. It has saved it many times. It's also scratched to hell but when I peel it off, it's like day 1 beautiful!

I will try and find something like that for the 5 as well. Other than that, nothing.

My new iPod will NEVER BE NAKED, except when it arrives. Those of you with naked iPhones will regret it when they shatter on the ground
