By the way it looks like that covers the sides, top, and bottom, too. Are the sides separate pieces of wrap, or is the entire wrap one piece?

Yes it's a solid piece that covers back, sides and top.

Tell me more. I am normally not a wrap kind of guy, but the slickness of the 6 make me consider something like this. How does it feel?

It feels good. Pretty "rough". Far tougher than truly naked phone. I just have normal wraps, but I'd imagine carbon fiber wraps are more rough. Really not too bad to try for $10. I didn't order front part from slickwraps.com. But yea, to answer question very rough and not really slick at all. Almost gritty feel.

I used the Apple Leather case on the 5S, but ended up taking it off. I'm not worried about dropping the phone. I'm not using a case on the 6. I do have a microfiber sleeve for when it's in my purse because I don't want to scratch the glass. Most cases are ugly. I don't put a case on my laptop so why do I need one on my less expensive phone?

I do. SG 6+. I love the feel of it. It's much nicer than 5 - so round and ergonomic. I also don't find it slippery - I guess my palms are well mositurized at all times haha. It's also easier to type one handed for me without any case. It just feels slimmer and more stable in my palm.

I discovered with my 4 and 5 that I don't really scretch screens, so no screen protector either. I always keep my phones in separate pockets (jackets and blouses), in a mini backpack or a sports belt. So no risk. Plus this finish is very durable. The only phone I had that suffered a bit was 5 slate black - the edges were getting silver over the time. I also had my phone insured for a screen damage - if it happens I will have it replaced with a new one.

iPhone 6 Plus Caseless Users

Hi, Guys.

Question: Where do you put your caseless iPhone 6 Plus in your car during transport? Cupholder? Lay it in the seat?

Man, I want to go caseless but these new iPhones are way too unwieldy and slippery to be caseless. Maybe a clear wrap such as Slickwraps or Bodyguardz would help. Just running an Otterbox Commuter for now.

Just sold my 6 for the 6+ and it's my first day having it and I'm not gonna lie, it reminds me of all the Notes I've had, but I'd be kidding if I wasn't worried about bending it. Thus, having a semi rigid case to keep it straight.

It's not gonna bend by itself

I'll keep it in my pocket or put it on the seat. If someone's sitting next to me then its the cup holder. Never used a case and don't plan on using one either. Phone is good just the way it is.

When not wearing a jacket, this is what I have been doing as well.

Caseless is fine when you’re living in plush digs. Soft materials all around you create a pillow effect for your phone to sit on or fall down into, as you playfully fondle the phone in utter fascination.

Trouble ensues for those of us who have to concentrate on other than their phone when rapidly traveling about in decidedly hard-surfaced environments. My 5S in a Caudabe Veil almost invisible case got so trashed in time, where one of the last falls and skids wound up deforming the headphone jack into an unusable oval. I suffered the dings and abrasions, but the headphone jack was the last straw. I got a replacement and handled the phone like kid gloves since, putting it in a thick and protective case.

As to the question, definitely not lay in the seat. A short stop will jettison the phone toward impact somewhere in the vehicle.

I place my phone in a dedicated padded plush lined section of the center console. Got lucky, it fits perfectly which prevents it from sliding around. Connectivity is via Bluetooth.

I use a thin aluminum bumper case with tempered glass screen. Phone looks and feels naked, but with protection.

Mine stays In here....... had a local stereo shop run power out the dash. Only about 2" of cable shows
