I'll admit it has been an adjustment for me coming from a 7+. The X is growing on me slowly, and I think I'll hang on to it.
I'm sure most folks that are happy with the X now, and think it's the right size, will no doubt jump to the X+ when it comes out and think the same thing.

I've been very happy going from a 7 Plus to the X. The screen size is just right, but I would consider going larger as long as they kept the screen relatively narrow like the X.

I’m so used to the display size (not the whole phone size) of iPhone 7 Plus, and even though I only had the Plus for couple of months,I just cannot stand small screen size of standard iPhones anymore.

So I’m thinking about pre-ordering an iPhone X,I believed the numbers and thought it’s gonna be same screen size but smaller form factor.(perfect)

But now everyone is talking about iPhone X display size being more similar to standard iPhones rather than Plus due to screen ratio, notch etc

Are there other iPhone Plus owners worried about iPhone X display size?
I dont worry just don't buy it if I need to go from 6S+ i will take the iPhone 8+ and wait for next year X+ or XI+

If you like the narrow size that it you can't have a bigger size with the same narrow its mean it has to be longer that will call iPhone hot dog

You could make it a little bit wider and taller to get to 6.4 inches. Not the same as it is with the X currently, I am okay with a bit wider.

After having a 7 Plus for a year, it did not satisfy me. I returned it for an 8 Plus. To be honest, if it was priced the same as an 8 Plus I might have kept it but I couldn't justify the premium price for something I didn't absolutely love.
Exactly, the X is going back, the screen feels absolutely cramped in portrait mode. Everyone here complaining about the plus size must be a tight jeans wearing millennial.

Sad that I have to give up the superior telephoto lens on the X though. Made portrait mode much more usable. Dunno why Apple couldn't fit the OIS in the 8+. I guess they have to justify the major price increases somehow.

I thought I would hate the iPhone X because I have had every plus ever made and didnt mind the size at all but the screen on the X is so much better. The home button seems like an archaic form of input, camera system, face id and the fact its smaller is a plus pun intended.

That was the reason I kept the 7 Plus so that if I didn't like the X (due to size or other reasons) I could just return the X and keep my 7 Plus (my 7 Plus was just 3 months old).

But as I said X is excellent in every way and I love it.

You will feel the screen is smaller at first, but will soon get used to it..the form factor is so superior that you won't want to handle that giant 7 Plus anymore.

Face ID is also very easy too use and excellent and I have to say it took just 2 tries for me to 100% get used to lack of home button and those swipe-up gestures.

The only thing I don't like is the big out of place popped out vertical camera lens but that's hidden nicely now by the Apple leather case (the best case for it).

Overall very happy with the iPhone X,definitely the best iPhone yet.
yup, totally in love with iPhone x, but still gonna hold on my 7+ for a little big longer, but seriously, i am so used to face ID now :)

Initial results are good. The X has plenty of screen estate for web browsing. Viewing photos uncropped results in them being quite small, but zooming in to see the details is very effective.

In portrait orientation the phone is very compact in the hand.

Initial impression is the screen is too narrow on the iPhone X going from my 7 Plus.
I’m seriously thinking of returning it

Typing is so much harder. Just too narrow.  never Gets the width correct.

So far battery unimpressive as well bs 7 Plus. I’m using the brightness at low setting like 15% and the battery is draining faster than I would expect

I would return if I were you, but I adjusted in a few minutes to the small difference in width. Everyone is different though.

I've had mine 5 days. There are times when I notice the difference in sizes. But 95% of the time, I don't even notice. If an X Plus comes next year, I might be interested. I'd want to see the size first. While I have large hands very well suited for the Plus line, I do like how the X fits better in a pocket.

FYI, while I do occasionally notice the difference in screen size, the other benefits still outweigh that small downside for me. Also, when I go back to my Plus, it now feels a little on the big side. Finally, I have an iPad, so watching media on my phone isn't a factor in my decisions. I might feel different if that wasn't the case.

I didn't even need that. Maybe it's because I switch between keyboard sizes all day (phone, iPad, laptop, full-sized keyboard at work). Whatever the reason, I needed no adjustment time. I just started using it. I'm not really surprised. I find myself needing to reply to a message from time to time on my girlfriend's S8, and I've never had problems there either.

As you say, everyone is different.

Here's a screen overlay so people can better understand the screen size differences between the three models. You can see that while the iPhone X screen is much taller than both the 7 and 7 Plus screens, the width is somewhere in between the 7 and 7 Plus. The width is greater than the 7, but less than the 7 Plus.

So if you're holding a 7 Plus and haven't seen an X in person, you can imagine that the width of the iPhone X screen is about to the right edge of the right most icons on your home screen

I believe Apple will introduce a larger iPhone X next year. Though it will be slightly wider, it most likely will be smaller than the current iPhone 8+ form factor, which for me would be a win-win. I like the larger size for my eyes, the keyboard, quite possibly more battery life .

I hope so. It would be perfect. I’m 50-50 on returning my iPhone X. Smaller than I hoped
