No, I honestly don't see it. It has a tempered glass screen protector on so maybe that's hiding it if it is there but I'm not that bothered to look any closer. Doesn't distract me = not there
Sorry I mean a screenshot is not going to show any defects on the physical screen.

I found that my phone shows such 'blemish' slightly too after reading this thread, which was not noticeable before today. Now it can't be unseen. I hate this thread. :(

I don't understand why you uploaded a screenshot, that won't reveal anything about the condition of your display. You're trying to show (or not show) a hardware blemish with an image generated in software?

Sorry I didn't realise this. Going to stick with mine anyway, overall happy with it and if it is there it's not drawing attention

Nope, everything is all good, 6S+. Sorry if you guys have any issues with your launch day iPhones. It would piss me off too. You pay for a premium device, and expect nothing less of performance and functionality. I hope you guys get it situated. Best of luck.
Thank you, this is the type of feedback we need. Not apologists who like to call ppl "OCD" "trying to find problems" "expecting perfection"

Mine's got "pressure points" on both the lower left and lower right of the display -- I noticed them before I read this thread -- but they'r both pretty dang faint. And I don't have any noticeable spotlighting on the top of the screen, so I'm inclined to live with this defect. On mine you really can't notice it, even if scrolling, unless you're looking for it. Of course I have AppleCare+ so I guess if it continues to bug me in a couple of months I can swap it out.

I started reading through this thread thinking that my 6S Plus was fine and that OP's premise was ridiculous. But, after a few minutes of testing, I finally noticed a very minor blemish in the same location others have pointed to. It's like a faint smudge. And based on other reports, now I'm thinking that it's present on most devices.

Don't think mine is as bad as OP's 6S Plus, since if I don't think to look for it, I don't see it.

When Apple advertises its new iPhone as being the best smartphone on the planet, I do think it's fair to expect perfection. Maybe this could be as simple as a software fix that produces a little more light in that exact spot.

Apple could have prevented these imperfections: OLED

I guess my only concern with it is if it will worsen over time. I put pressure on that side of the screen often now to engage multitasking and hope that this doesn't get worse.

I have to imagine that the display is up to the task given the new force touch interactions, but I guess it remains to be seen.

I have this but it's not noticeable unless you look for it. Even then it's still barely noticeable, so I'm not too concerned with it right now.

I don't really see it so I am not annoyed about it. I do have Apple Care, so if I do start seeing it and it becomes an issue, then I'll let Apple deal with it.

What is more annoying are the folks that get on this forum and argue trying to one up each other!

Like many others, I have the dark spot on my 6s Plus, but I certainly never would have noticed it had it not showed up here. It doesn't really matter what I comment on it because either way I'll either be an Apple apologist or a OCD complainer. LOL, oh well here goes...

1) Relatively speaking, this problem is minor compared to other launch issues such as Antennagate. Or even Bendgate since that was something that could potentially ruin your phone if you sat on it in your back pocket. Of course, that doesn't mean it isn't an issue, but I'm personally not really bothered by it (and I'm usually pretty OCD to be honest).

2) The screen on my 6s is otherwise magnificent, with great brightness, contrast, uniformity, color, and viewing angles. I've owned plenty of phones with less than stellar screens, ranging from discoloration to poor viewing angles to brightness issues. So while I would gladly accept an exchange from Apple if the issue is addressed and remedied, I have no plans to proactively seek an exchange.

3) For those who are really bothered by it, you have every right to ask for an exchange or refund, and I'm sure Apple will do whatever it can to make you happy. While they may not address the issue on a wide scale, they certainly will deal with it on an individual basis like they always have. Of course, it may be some time before you can actually get an exchange that doesn't have the issue. I mean, who wants to take the chance with multiple exchanges in order to get a perfect one? But since there's a 1 year warranty on it anyway, even without Applecare, it may be something that can be exchanged in the near future.

So what's this one going to be called? Sigh...

Shadowgate?
Spotgate?

I have absolutely nothing wrong with my flawless 6S plus. All pressure points on my phone work perfectly. You must of gotten a melon. Get it replaced.

Well I happened to try my speakerphone yesterday only to discover the speaker at the bottom sounds blown. I have an express replacement that should ship out today. I had the screen issue and told myself I won't replace it just for that due to the new one more than likely having the same issue...I guess we will see now in 2 days. I will report back if my new unit does not have this pressure point issue. I am curious which build week it is but won't know until they send me the serial number via email when it ships.

No display is perfectly uniform in brightness or color temperature, you simply can't escape some difference. It's very minor on my 6s+, I didn't even notice until I saw this thread. Not going to worry.

I noticed it last night after reading this thread. Did t notice it before. It's so faint it's not an issue for me and it seems like it comes and goes. Other than that, no issues. No reason to swap it for another phone that may have worse issues.

Curious if anyone has popped the screen off to see if there is something that can be adjusted? Might be a clip pushing too hard on it or something. Anyone sending one back or replacing there's and want to try it out? Pretty easy to do.
