Interesting update on mine. I filled out the survey they sent me after the replacement phone I was given had just as many dark spots as the original. Apple actually called me back today to ask why I wasn't satisfied, and when I told them what was going on, they're having me go back to the store to get a different phone. They even called ahead to tell them to fit me in because of the roundabout way I ended up where I am (3 store visits just to find a store that had a replacement, only to have the replacement have an issue). Hopefully this new shipment of replacements does not have this issue anymore.

very good question...V9.02. Like i said earlier I purchased the phone last Sunday....new batch has just arrived. Do not believe any 9.1 version are in the stores yet.
I need to go tomorrow 14th day. Mine is week 41 with the little blemish thing. Mine had the 9.02 but Apple is quick sending new batches with the latest software. I really do like having all the jailbreak tweaks but don't know how long before they have one for 9.1. As of now Apple Store have no rose gold 128gb or 64gb sim free. Decisions decisions.

If all you have is the blemish and nothing else, I wouldn't bother.
That doesn't bother me too much, I don't really like the color of the screen. The white looks dirty compared to the white grayish color of my IPad. Air 2. I just hate the fact I paid. $1029 and it's not like the screen of my iPad Air 2 or iPad 2 and 4s. Screen just looks dingy. It's not as noticeable until I've been using iPad Air 2 for awhile.

The blemish doesn't bother me at all. I can barely see it and only when I stare directly at it.

Well you've seen the list of issues you could get discussed in this 'almost 1000 posts' thread.

By all means swap it out, but you run the risk of getting something worse.

If i take this one back tomorrow and rebuy this one on my Amex card (better warranty) will i get an additional 14days since it would be a return rebuy?

Don't post screenshots of it with a white background at 100% brightness - we'll only shatter that illusion for you. :)

where ?

You're first 2 images have moire in them making it impossible to examine.

But the 3rd is very interesting. That has to be the most uniform screen I've seen on a 6S.

I suspect the dark corners that are visible in the picture don't exist in person.

Very good. You're very lucky.

The 4 times I did a return/repurchase your 14 days start at the purchase so to answer your question Yes.

Well if you think that screen looks good then I feel really good about the way mine looks. I see many dark spots on his screen. Could be just the picture too that's why its hard to judge.

My 6S Plus looks the same. No blemishes at all.

Just curious for those who got near perfect screens recently do you have the Samsung chip or TSMC.? It seems the Samsung chip i had prior to this one had a near perfect screen but the phone got so hot i couldn't stand it. This Phone TSMC screen not as good but stays cool. Ugh i hate this.

In the interest of comparisons, here's my screen. My screen is not perfect. It has a slight yellow to blue colour shift left to right, faint blemish bottom left and slight yellow stain bottom left. It also changes colour temperature depending on ambient light. Slight dark patches at the top of the screen and the left and right edges are slightly darker than the rest of the screen.

The camera picks up only some of this so I think that photographing screens isn't that scientific.

Well, I'm in danger of being labelled OCD (if it hasn't been decided already)...but I opted to go for my 5th 6S+ today. I was going to stick with what I had but then I reminded myself that it's a £700 supposedly premium product and that gave me the impetus to try my luck again.

So it's another ruddy Samsung, this time week 43 Foxconn C3 running 9.0.2
I have the pressure point bottom left, sadly more pronounced than my last two, I also have the 'binding' at the top of the screen and the whole thing is light blue all over. This time I also get to experience the joys of a super-loose Lightning port, and yet another wobbly mute switch. My last phone had perfect buttons and switches.

So yeah, not happy at all. Plus it lags like crazy when unlocking straight out of the box. What's a man to do? Accept the mediocre, buy another brand, or try again? The latter is time consuming, stressful, and of course yet another huge gamble. Just commenting here that I'm on my fifth phone is a tad embarrassing but I'm at the point now where I fully expect to be given what amounts to a factory second whenever I visit the Apple store. :(
