other way around homie. people who got the 6 will feel like they should have gotten the 6+. and so there might be more 6 returns than 6+ returns.

Reminds me of how some people shorten "iPod touch" to "iTouch". Just use the full name. You're not saving that much time. Or at the very least use a text expander.

I believe the correct term is legen-waitforit-dary.

Don't forget the even more lazy "i4" or "i5S" people.

Unfortunately, some people are like that. Quite a few here were going to get the 4.7 model until they learned of the better specs on the 5.5.

I think everyone is forgetting the screen on the 5.5" appears to have much resolution and detail. Size maybe a annoyance but a nice screen is amazing.

Its like looking at 13in Mac Air vs 13in MBP retina.

The difference between a 6 and a 6+ is most definitely not akin to looking at 13" Air vs 13" MBP retina.

I'm upgrading from the 5 to the 6 Plus. I did the cut outs, looked at the specs and decided on the 6 Plus. Besides I usually carry my phone in my purse or bag, so I feel I will be happy with it.

True, but I think there was some talk about apple selling refurbs on ebay under a different account not officially as Apple though.

Pretty sure they sell "re-manufactured" phones. I've always been told by the Genius' at the Genius Bar that the replacement phone they give you if they have to replace your phone are re-mannys, not refurbs.

I seriously doubt there will be more returns of the 6 to get the Plus. The vast majority of folks on another OS do not return a smartphone the size of the 6 and get a phablet instead.

And the Plus in most cases will not cannibalize the Mini either. The Note 3 did not for me personally.

I think there will be a good amount of returns.

this

I doubt the majority thought to create a cardboard cutout much less go to a big box store to handle one of the larger Samsungs or whatever to see what that size phone might be like.

I use my Moto X more than any other smartphone I have with better specs and screen.

Best ergonomic phone ever.

I already received my case for my Plus. Unless the actual size is double the case I'm keeping my new puppy.

I can't quite believe this thread.

I own a Samsung Note 3.

Is is a tad larger than the iPhone 6 Plus.

It fits neatly in my jeans pocket. It works great in the hand.

Once you go to a larger screen you will wonder how you ever did without it for so long.

And, yes, I am going back to the iPhone brand because I left it a few years ago cause I was tired of playing with a tinkertoy.

You guys are going to love the large phone, trust me.

The phone are pretty close in size. I don't think there will be too many returns.

I'm getting a 6 but I will check out the Plus.

Henry

What's not to believe about this thread? :D Most are ordering the 6+ to see if it works. I see a majority of these people returning it for the 6 and go with a marginal size increase. I also see, a small number of these same people return back the 6 and get the 6+ that they started with. :D There's going to be a lot of returning back and forth.

Stooooooop this the "6+" stuff. It's 6 Plus. This drives me insane how lazy people are. You're literally saving a half a second. Type it correctly.

I think 6 Plus looks goofy, so I am going to continue to use 6+.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are some returns of the phone, some people will be taken off guard.

The thread title questions whether there would be massive returns from people who own the iPhone 6+ because it's too big.

Nothing personal, but for the most part, that's nonsense.

I think people have been waiting forever for Apple to get its act together, catch up with Samsung, and offer a larger screen. By now, most people have seen the larger phones or even (like myself) returning from the Samsung brand because Apple finally gave their customers what they have been wanting.

When you can finally read webpages without squinting --- show beautiful videos to a crowd of friends without them squinting --- you will realize that this is the size a phone should be.

I think most people who preordered the 6+ know exactly what they are getting into.

What a load of cobblers.

You have NOTHING WHATSOEVER to support your statement and are still just trying to belittle buyers of the phone you didn't get.

Unless of course you've personally interviewed every single one of all the 6 Plus offer buyers worldwide and 51% said that they are "ordering it to see if it works".

It's trolling, nothing more, nothing less.

This coming from someone who typed 5S instead of 5s in his signature?

Yes, 5S is wrong. But he's showing he's an overachiever by pressing both shift and s, not just s. Everyone else is just lazy with their 6+!!!

----------

No returns on the 6+ for me, no siree bob.. I like my things BIG to hide my inadequacies in other areas

I tend not to believe that either.

Most everyone has a friend that owns a Samsung phone with a larger screen.

Apple iPhone owners have been curious for the past 3-4 years about the larger screens. They have asked their friends about them. They have held these phones in their hand. They have asked questions about handling and pocket storage.

People can go to their local carrier store and play with a Samsung Note 4. About the same size (if not slightly bigger).

I think most everyone (but not everyone) already knows what they are getting into.

I was told they are new phones. I am not going to try and guess what you mean by "re-mannys." The Genius who help me with my 5 battery replacement, said if they damage the phone during the replacement process (a possibility) they replace it with a new phone. The white boxes they hand out are not refurbished , remanufactured, etc. They are new, for the purpose of replacement.

Unless you have abnormally small hands, I can't understand any male who would prefer a small screen multi media device over a large screen multi media device.....esp as we're still talking about a small item here, so small it fits in jeans pockets no problems at all......people make out this device to be huge...it's tiny, it's only 5.5 inch an weighs next to nothing , that's a small device.

Bit like tv, the bigger the better I say.

Size and portability, the ability to carry it in a pant pocket and not in-hand.

The 6+ is not for me because pants-pocketability is an essential requirement for me.

I imagine those who've ordered a 6+ don't have my requirement. Their daily routine is different and a bigger screen is an asset. Nobody spends that amount of money without thinking about it.
