Are people honestly suggesting on here, adults don't know what 5.5 inches is...I mean seriously?

What about the bezels?????? I mean seriously. Wait till they try to shove that thing in their pocket and sit down with it.

I think there will be massive returns on both sides, probably more on the 5.5" side, but i have the feeling there are going to be a ton of 4.7" people that are going to have major screen envy.

I think THIS is going to be epic. With the Plus in such short supply and the tons of 4.7" owners flocking to their nearest Apple store and fondling the 5.5".

"it's not that big."

True, but I think there was some talk about apple selling refurbs on ebay under a different account not officially as Apple though.

They do, I bought one and it's legit. One year warranty and I was able to buy Applecare too.

I think lots of people don't realize that it's really a different product (phablet) if you're expecting a phone and you get something like the plus, it's gonna be a miss match.

Nope not returning it :)

Apple would never let these type of details out. It would look bad. Perhaps a carrier will give out some return details but I doubt that as well.

So.... We'll never know.

There will NOT be massive returns because there won't be good availability on launch weekend to buy one. Preorders were clearly short supply. By the time there is good availability people will have long been able to play with it live and make an informed decision. I think this May be one of the reasons stock is so scarce now.

Agree, I am so looking forward to read people's experience with the 6+ the first week. I predict massive returns, with the 6 being the preferred choice. We shall see.

Based on what?

The size of the phone is pretty well known and even with out seeing it you could still compare it to the SG4 or even the note. So it is not really a mystery.

Those that are in the smaller is better crowd obviously will not upgrade of will go with the 4.7.

Not sure what anyone will return the 5.5 when they specifically ordered know the size.

Or forget about it like some did with the gold and opted for a different color 5s last year.

In this case if they want a new iphone they probably will end up just getting the 6 because the Plus will be hard to get.

There will certainly be some people who will regret not getting the Plus. There will also doubtless be those who find the Plus to be too big for their needs.

For me personally, there was never any doubt I would be going with the 4.7. I have an iPad I use daily, so I don't need or want a phablet. I prefer a smaller, lighter phone I can keep in my breast pocket.

Definitely there will be some people who find the Plus to be too large to be practical. To me, it is clown-sized, but I am glad Apple fans finally have a choice. I have a few friends who were ready to jump ship to Android just for the larger screen. Apple had to make this move.

Here's another one on the front page of macrumors site.

I saw that. Tells me nothing. Shirt pockets are made in all sorts of different sizes. Hands are much more consistent. Additionally, what's up with that photo? Something's just weird about the way the person is standing, the way the shirt is draping and so forth. Not saying that as an Apple apologist or anything, but as a photographer. It's a weird shot regardless.

Knowing the size means little versus using it daily and it being comfortable to do so and actually not being a pain in the pocket to carry around. :)

Not skinny, just slim. I cannot fit into skinny.

The way I see it, people will regret not getting the 6+. Let me see, what else is better if you buy bigger? Ok, a hot dog. So you buy a little wiener, and your buddy orders a footlong mega dog. You both sit to eat and you look over, and you say "that hot dog is too big. I can't eat it with one hand. To each his own. Such a big dog is not for me. I'm perfectly happy with my little wiener".

Yeah sounds something like that.

Get a sense of humor people!

are you sporting skinny jeans?

Those of us that aren't should be ok.

Denim is plenty stretchy. That's one of the reasons people wear those kinds of jeans. They want them to wear-in to fit, so even sticking a Plus in the back pocket shouldn't be a problem. I mean, it isn't as if people are walking around in burlap.
