Usually the only exif data I'm really concerned about is the location. I've seen photos where when you check you can see the exact street address...especially if taken on a newer iPhone.
You can make sure that doesn't show up on a photo by going to settings and turning off location services for the camera. I toggle this on/off a lot.
If you want to change or remove other exif data (like it showing you took the picture on an iPhone, the time, etc.) I think you'll need to do that using a program...maybe Lightroom or an exif editor.
thank you! Yes, I just don't want my exact location inadvertently published. I don't want anyone showing up hoping to get autographs from my dog. She's such a diva!
I'll have to leave in a while and pick up kid from school. Sigh. I hope the UPS driver doesn't show up while I'm gone. I'd wanted to do a pickup at the UPS location initially. But it was impossible really to discuss anything related to my Apple Watch, though, to set that up. Hubby is moping like you would not believe about his being stuck in processing limbo. I was getting eyerolls and shrugs and tsk tsk noises when I expressed concern I wouldn't get my watch today. Finally he snapped and said at least I knew mine was on the way, while his might take two weeks.
Which is fine, I can understand that. But he's in denial about moping, too. So he's vaguely grumpy about nothing I guess.
He's usually a great guy but we are all a bit on edge because lately his family and mine have had serious health issues to deal with. It's been stressful and sad.
So, it has been so much fun to have something lighthearted and frivolous to look forward to. We just took our daughter to Build-A-Bear so she would have a new treat to enjoy, too. She's so good about visiting sick elderly grandparents and cheering them up.
Anyhow, I'll get my Apple Watch soon I guess. I'm loving the photos of the different bands I'm seeing. I can't wait to accessorize my own watch. I love how Apple designed the band attachments. Even though pins would have made it easier to use a wide variety of bands, after 40 years of dealing with pins and other fiddly proprietary band attachments, I'm ready to embrace the new connectors.
My Sister-in-law's birthday gift is a 38 mm Pink Sport, currently also stuck in processing limbo. I did get to try a Sport on at the Apple Store. It was gorgeous and so light!
Gotta run!

Wise move to strip exif data for things you will be posting publicly. It's like wearing a seatbelt....most times you won't have to test it but when you do you'll be glad it was on.
My suggestion: upload to imgur and then attach to the thread as a thumbnail using the imgur link, as any images uploaded to imgur are automatically stripped of all exif data.
Thank you, too!
