So worried!

I went to try on the watches last week and they did not have a large band for the 38 mm sports. So I had to order the 38 mm unseen... now it's being prepared for shipment.
I'm so worried it won't fit my freakishly huge wrists.

My wrist is 160 and I'm on the middle hole for the S/M band. I think yours will fit you!

I'd be worried about wearing bracelets with my watch but I only wear bracelets on my left wrist! Unless it is my tiffany bone cuff which is for my right wrist. So not sure what I'm going to do.

Here it is! Frosty pink nails, stainless steel and Milanese, and I'm wearing black today! ;)

Did anyone happen to get the green or pink band? I'm curious about them. Although I guess I could go to a store too.

Wow you all have such pretty nails! I just trimmed mine down so they would not break off in my work gloves. :( I'm so jelly of all the pretty manicures in this thread. :D

When I get mine I'd like to share pictures but how do you strip off all that information that iPhone and other digital photos encode into a pic nowadays? Exif data, I think it's called.

Ladies, hopefully most of us are getting our watches tomorrow. Got the outfits coordinated? Nails done?

I am ready!

It just got delivered! I'm going to try an pick out a blue nail polish to match the blue sport band for my manicure tomorrow. Any recommendations, fellow Azure Apples? :D

Yay! I ordered the 38mm Sport with the blue sports band. I also ordered a Casetify band with this design on it.

I might also get the Click adapter and get some thicker 22mm Fossil bands. I'm a big wristband/cuff person, so I want the watch to wear more like a sweet thick bracelet.

I'm getting my nails done on Saturday. I might just try and coordinate! :p

Haha this is AMAZING!

I'm counting on more options being available from third party manufacturers, but it would be nice if apple offered something in pink. Not the "pinks" that are available now.

We could totally do with having actual pinks - to co-ordinate with my hair lol

I'd say that would be one of the more valid "#Gate"s, as the thing is supposed to be water resistant and any gaps like that would definitely compromise that.

I'm sure it's the stem that keeps the water out. The crown is a button after all. There has to be some space under it. They could have shrouded it more but the gap does need to be there. Wonder if it's different between models.

I'm not going to have a nice manicure either when mine finally makes it up from the mail room. :( I've been crazy busy at work and haven't even had time to do an at-home. Also I'm a stress nail biter. :( Gotta get them in shape for next week though, since I have a work retreat. :)

I don't bother stripping the info... I've never had any issues!

Usually the only exif data I'm really concerned about is the location. I've seen photos where when you check you can see the exact street address...especially if taken on a newer iPhone.

You can make sure that doesn't show up on a photo by going to settings and turning off location services for the camera. I toggle this on/off a lot.

If you want to change or remove other exif data (like it showing you took the picture on an iPhone, the time, etc.) I think you'll need to do that using a program...maybe Lightroom or an exif editor.

Edit: for anyone interested in editing the metadata, it looks like there is an app (well of course there is) called photo investigator. I looks like it will strip all the data out of your photo.

I just received my white 38mm Sport...it's a lot smaller than I thought it would be but I love it. It's pretty much perfect!

Wise move to strip exif data for things you will be posting publicly. It's like wearing a seatbelt....most times you won't have to test it but when you do you'll be glad it was on.

My suggestion: upload to imgur and then attach to the thread as a thumbnail using the imgur link, as any images uploaded to imgur are automatically stripped of all exif data.

thank you! Yes, I just don't want my exact location inadvertently published. I don't want anyone showing up hoping to get autographs from my dog. She's such a diva! ;)

I'll have to leave in a while and pick up kid from school. Sigh. I hope the UPS driver doesn't show up while I'm gone. I'd wanted to do a pickup at the UPS location initially. But it was impossible really to discuss anything related to my Apple Watch, though, to set that up. Hubby is moping like you would not believe about his being stuck in processing limbo. I was getting eyerolls and shrugs and tsk tsk noises when I expressed concern I wouldn't get my watch today. Finally he snapped and said at least I knew mine was on the way, while his might take two weeks.

Which is fine, I can understand that. But he's in denial about moping, too. So he's vaguely grumpy about nothing I guess.

He's usually a great guy but we are all a bit on edge because lately his family and mine have had serious health issues to deal with. It's been stressful and sad.

So, it has been so much fun to have something lighthearted and frivolous to look forward to. We just took our daughter to Build-A-Bear so she would have a new treat to enjoy, too. She's so good about visiting sick elderly grandparents and cheering them up.

Anyhow, I'll get my Apple Watch soon I guess. I'm loving the photos of the different bands I'm seeing. I can't wait to accessorize my own watch. I love how Apple designed the band attachments. Even though pins would have made it easier to use a wide variety of bands, after 40 years of dealing with pins and other fiddly proprietary band attachments, I'm ready to embrace the new connectors.

My Sister-in-law's birthday gift is a 38 mm Pink Sport, currently also stuck in processing limbo. I did get to try a Sport on at the Apple Store. It was gorgeous and so light!

Gotta run!
