If I go in there for a battery replacement and I brought in a Otterbox case I bought from someone else would they put it on for me?

Depending upon the person taking care of you I would expect so. You could also tell them you took the case off for their work and give it to them with the phone

yeah they should be able too, curious as why you can't do it yourself?
I can do it myself, Im just thinking they would be better at doing it, keeping more dust and other things off it when putting it on
[doublepost=1541712599][/doublepost]Do You guys know if they clean the phone at all during a battery replacement?

That one there I'd want them to install

They took off the rock-hard Spigen case I had (no mean feat) and put on the Apple Forest Green one. When you're paying £55 for a case you can expect them to. I've always found Apple Staff very helpful.

If you asked them to I’m pretty sure they would. That said, I’d recommend buying a nice microfiber cloth and using that to clean the phone. Then when you put the case on, only touch the phone using the microfiber cloth. This is what I do when I put on my cases and I don’t get any fingerprints on the phone.

I'm sure they will put the case on for you, but if you are particular about dust, prints, etc, I think you would do a better job yourself.

It honestly matters not one bit. Dust will still get in unless it's a lifeproof or something.

What will you do when you need to take the phone out of the case to clean it?

A lot of ppl saying they would put it on... maybe. I feel like it’s a liability thing here. When you go in to service your phone they ask you to remove it from its case.

Pro tip: putting cases/screen glas on in your bathroom after a hot shower. The steam from the hot water „binds“ the dust in the air, so no flying around dust

They scratched my screen during a battery replacement. I wouldn’t trust them to take any particular care with a customer’s product.
